Additional Rules

Single-phase evaluation with a 6% profit target: The Standard challenge requires reaching a $6,000 profit target on a $100,000 account with no time limit. Profit is measured on closed balance — all positions must be flat before the target is confirmed. The absence of a deadline allows traders to approach the evaluation patiently without deadline pressure.
No time limit: The Standard challenge has no expiry date. Traders can take as long as needed to reach the $6,000 target while respecting all drawdown rules, making it one of the most accessible evaluation structures for disciplined, consistent traders.
Minimum 5 profitable trading days required for evaluation review: Before the account can advance to the funded stage, at least 5 winning trading days must be present in the evaluation record. Days with a net loss or breakeven do not count toward this minimum. This requirement cannot be bypassed by hitting the profit target early.
Daily loss limit of $2,500 — Hard Breach: On a $100,000 account, equity or balance must never fall below $2,500 below the start-of-day balance at any point during the session. The hard breach mechanism means account termination is immediate and permanent upon hitting this threshold — there is no warning, no soft breach, and no recovery opportunity. A single over-leveraged position or an unexpected adverse move in a volatile session can end the evaluation instantly.
Maximum drawdown of $3,500 — EOD (End-of-Day): The total loss limit is $3,500, calculated on an End-of-Day basis. The floor updates only at session close based on the closing balance, not intraday equity peaks. If the account closes at $101,500, the new EOD floor becomes $98,000. While intraday pullbacks below the current floor still trigger a breach, the floor itself does not rise from intraday unrealized gains — providing meaningful intraday flexibility compared to trailing drawdown models.
Position scaling in funded starts at 2 Mini contracts: Unlike the challenge where 6 Minis are available from day one, the funded account begins with a 2-Mini ceiling. Traders must generate at least $4,000 in funded profits before unlocking the full 6-Mini capacity. This creates a deliberate warm-up period in the funded stage that can meaningfully affect early payout accumulation speed.
Consistency rule of 40% in both evaluation and funded: No single trading day may account for 40% or more of total profits at any given point. If the highest profit day exceeds 40% of total profits, trading must continue until the ratio falls below 40% before the evaluation can be passed or a payout requested. On a $100,000 account, if the highest profit day is $2,500 and total profits are $5,800 (ratio 43.1%), trading must continue until profits exceed $6,250 even though the $6,000 target has been reached.
Payout targets in the funded stage: The first payout requires $6,000 in profit (6% of starting balance), the second requires $4,000 (4%), and all subsequent payouts require $4,000 (4%) each. Both the payout target and the 40% consistency rule must be met simultaneously before each withdrawal is processed.
Payout cap of $2,750 per withdrawal: Each payout request is capped at $2,750 on a $100,000 Standard funded account, regardless of total profits accumulated. This cap remains in place until sufficient payout history is established.
News trading restrictions: No positions may be opened, closed, or held — including pending and limit orders — within 5 minutes before or after any red folder news release (FOMC, CPI, NFP, PMI, PPI, Employment Reports, JOLTS, Trump Speeches, Powell Speeches). During evaluation, news trading is permitted as part of an overall strategy but cannot be the sole basis for passing — additional non-news trades must be present for account review.
Hard breach creates asymmetric session risk: The Standard's hard breach at $2,500 daily means a single session with full 6-Mini exposure on a volatile futures instrument can consume the entire daily limit in minutes. Traders using the full contract cap must size positions with worst-case scenario loss calculations to ensure even a full adverse session does not immediately terminate the account.
EOD floor rises with every profitable session: Each session that closes at a new high permanently raises the EOD floor by locking in that closing balance minus $3,500. A trader who generates $4,000 in early sessions will have reduced the absolute drawdown buffer significantly — even while being substantially in profit — requiring careful management of position sizing as the floor rises through the evaluation.
40% consistency rule interacts with daily loss limit: The combination of a hard daily loss limit and a consistency cap creates a dual constraint. A trader who has one exceptional day representing 45% of total profits cannot pass the evaluation — and simultaneously cannot afford a poor day that approaches the $2,500 hard breach. Both rules must be managed simultaneously across every session.

Scaling Plan

Position-based scaling within the funded account: Blue Guardian Futures applies a structured position scaling model on Standard funded accounts. The number of contracts a trader may hold simultaneously grows progressively as profits accumulate, preventing over-leveraging early in the funded stage and rewarding consistent performance with greater exposure capacity.
Below $1,000 in profit: Traders may hold a maximum of 2 Mini contracts and 20 Micro contracts simultaneously. This conservative starting allocation ensures new funded traders build initial profits with controlled risk before accessing larger position sizes.
$1,000 to $2,000 in profit: The maximum position size increases to 3 Mini contracts and 30 Micro contracts, reflecting the trader's demonstrated ability to generate consistent funded returns.
$2,000 to $4,000 in profit: Position capacity grows further to 4 Mini contracts and 40 Micro contracts, allowing traders to scale their exposure in step with their accumulated funded profits.
$4,000 to $6,000 in profit: Traders reach the maximum allowed position size for the $100,000 Standard funded account — 6 Mini contracts and 60 Micro contracts. No further contract scaling beyond this level is available at the $100,000 tier.
Profit split structure: The first $15,000 of total profits withdrawn from the funded account are paid at a 100% split — the trader keeps every dollar. All profits beyond the first $15,000 are paid at a 90% split, rewarding early funded performance with an exceptional initial income incentive.
Maximum capital access: Blue Guardian Futures offers funded allocations up to $450,000, accessible through consistent performance across multiple funded accounts.
