Single-phase evaluation with a 6% profit target: The Prime $50,000 challenge requires reaching a $3,000 profit target. There is no time limit — the evaluation can be passed at any pace as long as the trailing equity drawdown is respected. All positions must be fully closed before the profit target is confirmed as reached.
No time limit: The Prime challenge has no deadline. Traders can take as long as needed to reach the $3,000 target while respecting the trailing equity drawdown rules.
Minimum 1 trading day: Only 1 profitable trading day is required to pass the Prime evaluation — the lowest possible minimum. In practice, this means a single sufficiently profitable session can complete the entire challenge, provided the trailing drawdown is never breached during that session.
No daily loss limit: The Prime $50,000 evaluation imposes no daily loss cap. The only risk boundary is the $2,000 trailing equity drawdown. While this provides maximum intraday flexibility, it also means the entire drawdown buffer can be consumed in a single adverse session without any protective daily mechanism.
Trailing equity drawdown of $2,000 — real-time: The Prime challenge uses a trailing equity drawdown, NOT an EOD model. The $2,000 maximum loss limit trails the highest live equity peak in real time throughout the trading day, including unrealized profits from open positions. Every new equity high — even from an open, unrealized position — permanently raises the drawdown floor immediately. If live equity drops below the most recently adjusted floor at any point during the session, the challenge is immediately and permanently breached.
How trailing equity works: Starting at $50,000 with a $2,000 trailing buffer, the initial floor is $48,000. If an open trade generates $1,500 in unrealized profit (equity reaches $51,500), the floor immediately rises to $49,500 — permanently locking in that gain as a floor increase. If the trade then reverses and closes flat, equity returns to $50,000 but the floor remains at $49,500, leaving only $500 of buffer. This mechanism is the defining and most dangerous feature of the Prime model.
Trailing equity vs EOD — the critical difference from Elite: The Elite evaluation uses an EOD trailing model where intraday equity spikes do not move the floor until session close. The Prime uses trailing equity which updates the floor in real time with every tick of unrealized profit. A trader who peaks at $51,800 intraday on Prime has a floor of $49,800 immediately — whereas the same trader on Elite retains $48,000 as the floor until session close. This intraday sensitivity makes Prime significantly harder to manage than Elite despite identical profit targets and drawdown amounts.
No consistency rule during evaluation: The Prime evaluation imposes no consistency rule. A trader can generate the entire $3,000 profit target in a single session without any consistency restriction. Only in the funded stage does a 40% consistency rule apply.
News trading policy: News trading is permitted. Traders may hold positions through major news events including FOMC, CPI, and NFP. Strategies designed solely to exploit immediate post-release price spikes remain prohibited.
Scalping trades excluded from payout qualification: In the funded stage, scalping trades do not count toward the payout profit goal. If more than 50% of the profit in any payout request comes from scalping activity, the funded account may be reset.
Monthly subscription model: The Prime challenge operates on a monthly subscription billing cycle, renewed automatically until cancelled. Resetting the account does not change the subscription cycle.
Trailing floor rises with every profitable tick: Unlike EOD models where profitable sessions only raise the floor at close, the Prime trailing equity mechanism raises the floor continuously in real time. A trade that moves $500 in profit before reversing back to breakeven leaves the floor $500 higher than before the trade was entered — permanently, regardless of the final closed result. This creates a compounding risk where profitable but ultimately breakeven trades progressively tighten the available buffer.
3 contracts make the trailing floor highly sensitive: With 3 Mini contracts on a $50,000 Prime account, a single 1-point adverse move generates $150 of equity loss — and a single 1-point favorable move raises the trailing floor by $150. A 13-point directional move at full capacity equals the entire $2,000 buffer in both upward floor movement and downward equity pressure. Precise position sizing and stop management are essential from the first trade.
Profit target equals drawdown buffer: The $3,000 profit target is 1.5x the $2,000 trailing buffer. After sustaining a $1,000 floating adverse move (50% of the buffer), the trader still needs to generate the full $3,000 target. There is no margin for sustained losing periods — recovery from near-breach situations demands both discipline and favorable market conditions.

Scaling Plan
No position scaling during evaluation: The Prime $50,000 evaluation account provides access to a maximum of 3 contracts from the first trade. This limit applies consistently throughout the entire evaluation phase with no changes based on performance or progress toward the profit target.
Contract scaling applies in the funded stage: Once a trader passes the Prime evaluation and transitions to the funded account, a progressive contract scaling plan activates. Contract access in the funded stage starts lower and increases as profits accumulate — rewarding consistent funded performance with greater position capacity over time.
Funded scaling tiers for $50,000: In the funded stage, traders begin with 1 Mini / 10 Micros when funded profits are below $1,000. This increases to 2 Mini / 20 Micros once profits reach $1,000–$1,499, and reaches the maximum of 3 Mini / 30 Micros once funded profits exceed $1,500.
No profit goal required before payout: The Prime funded account requires a minimum profit goal of $2,000 per payout cycle before a withdrawal can be requested. Unlike the evaluation's trailing equity drawdown model, the funded account uses the same trailing equity structure with 40% consistency enforced on every payout cycle.
Payout cap structure: Prime $50,000 funded payouts are capped at $1,300 on the first payout, $1,500 on the second, and $1,800 from the third payout onward. These increasing caps reward traders who maintain consistent funded performance across multiple payout cycles.
Profit split of 90%: All funded profits are paid at a 90% split to the trader.
Maximum capital access through account bundles: FuturesElite offers bundle discounts for traders who purchase multiple accounts simultaneously, allowing access to combined capital of up to $1,500,000 on day one.
