Earn2Trade Review 2026 — Trading Conditions, Rules & What Futures Traders Need to Know | PropTradingArea

Earn2trade

4.4 (169 reviews) Futures Trust: 4.3/5 Updated

Earn2Trade is one of the older names in the futures prop space and one of the few that pairs a challenge with actual trading education. Whether you need the education is your business. The pass rate is among the better ones in futures. That part is ours.

About Earn2trade

Earn2Trade is the firm that decided the prop trading industry needed more education and less gambling — and then built a product around that conviction. Founded in 2016, they're one of the oldest names in the evaluation space & the only firm on this list focused exclusively on futures trading. If you've been trading forex CFDs your whole career, this is a different world. A better-regulated one, but a different one.The Gauntlet Mini™ is their flagship evaluation. The Trader Career Path® is their subscription-based alternative. Both lead to the same place — funded futures trading through partner prop firms.

Passed on my second attempt after a tough first go. The profit split feels fair relative to the challenge fee. Happy to keep trading here and would sign up again if I had to.

Trader Tip

The 30% daily PnL cap is the most misunderstood rule — it applies to your entire evaluation, not just one day. If NFP generates 35% of your total profit on one session, the whole evaluation is void regardless of how disciplined every other day was. Read the Progression Ladder contract limits before your first trade — exceeding them doesn't end your evaluation but blocks you until the next CME trading day, which on Fridays means the weekend. The $4,000 LiveSim cap applies to your first withdrawal — plan your funded stage around it.

Trading Conditions

Drawdown System

  • Gauntlet Mini and TCP: drawdown parameters vary by account size — check specific level
  • Daily PnL cap: 30% of total PnL — applies to Gauntlet Mini and all TCP levels
  • Minimum 10 trading days required for both programs
  • 5 consecutive inactive days: account flagged
  • LiveSim: inactive for 120 days — account disabled
  • Subscription auto-renews 30 days after purchase — no refunds after purchase

High-Frequency & Fast Trading

  • Not Allowed:
  • Ultra-fast execution tools providing unfair advantage
  • Software or AI systems creating unfair advantage
  • Executing unrealistic number of contracts in a single day
  • Spoofing and disruptive trading practices
  • Bypassing geographical or technical restrictions
  • Trading inconsistent with actual futures market practices
  • Progression Ladder: exceeding contract limit for current level — immediate block until next CME day

Low Liquidity & Timing

  • All positions and working orders must be closed by 3:50 PM CT daily
  • Market closure window: 3:50 PM to 5:00 PM CT applies every day across all accounts
  • No overnight holding on any account type
  • No weekend holding on any account type
  • News trading allowed — 30% daily PnL cap is the binding constraint for news traders

Loss-Chasing & Gambling

  • Not Allowed:
  • 30% daily PnL cap — single day exceeding 30% of total PnL disqualifies entire evaluation
  • Trade copiers across all accounts including after passing — enforced retroactively
  • Trading on behalf of others or sharing incentives
  • Coordinated trading across connected accounts
  • Hedging across unrelated accounts
  • Intentional Progression Ladder violations — evaluation removed without refund, ineligible for funding

Risk Management

  • Progression Ladder: contract limits increase progressively through evaluation levels
  • Intentional Ladder breach: evaluation removed, no refund, ineligibility for funding
  • Trade copier enforcement retroactive: if found after passing, keep one account, lose rest with no refunds
  • LiveSim maximum withdrawal: $4,000 regardless of account size — requires $5,000 profit to access full amount (20% partner deduction)
  • Gauntlet Mini rebilling: does not reset evaluation — subscription continues until pass or cancel
  • TCP: one free reset per rebill cycle

Funded

mixed but mostly good

I blew my first account in two days like an absolute clown. fees are reasonable for what you get and the retake discount softens the blow. the drawdown is calculated on balance not equity which honestly saved me a few times. partial closes and trailing stops both worked exactly like they should. all in all i would point a friend their way without much hesitation.

Funded

better than my last firm

Started here as a complete beginner and somehow survived. teh challenge rules are strict but at least they are written in plain english for once. the funded payout split started at 80/20 and scaled up which felt fair. i compared them against three others and they had the best balance of price and rules. bro verdict: boring in the best possible way.

good for swing traders

A mentor of mine uses them so i followed his lead. the rules pdf is long but at least nothing is buried in tiny print. leverage is reasonable, not the reckless stuff that blows beginners up. i never had to chase support, they actually closed my ticket the same day. support answered a dumb question of mine with an actual example instead of a canned reply. can you guys get in contact with this firm if I provide an acc number? their customer support hasn't replied in 3 days. there is a discord and staff actually show up in it occasionally. recommend, but read the consistency rule twice before you start.

happy customer here

they popped up on a youtube ad and against my better judgement i clicked. their reset option after a breach is cheaper than buying a whole new eval. teh consistency rule is generous compared to the firms that cap you hard. tbh overnight swaps are charged but they are upfront about the numbers. they cap the max lot size which annoyed me at first but it protects you.

sticking with them

A youtuber i actually trust reviewed them so i pulled teh trigger. i like that the daily loss limit resets at a sane hour for my timezone. minimum trading days felt forced at first but i get it now, it protects both sides. i traded indices mostly and the spreads on those were perfectly fine. idk but the scaling plan is actually motivating instead of being some impossible carrot on a stick.

Funded Paid Out

in it for the long haul

been burned by a sketchy firm before so i went in cautious this time. i had a losing month and they did not nuke my account, just teh usual rules applied. i got a small payout bonus for hitting a milestone which was unexpected. i breached the daily loss limit on a tilt day, fully my fault, they did nothing wrong. got paid, that is the whole review really, everything else is noise. man

Funded Paid Out

no complaints from me

Started with their two step eval because the one step felt too good to be true. they let me run my algo as long as it is not some latency arbitrage exploit. the weekly market recap they send is actually worth reading. i scaled twice and each bump was a real size jump not some token gesture. payouts are biweekly on funded accounts which is way better than the monthly firms.

Fair Rules Fast Payouts

Jumped in during a 30% off promo, figured worst case i learn something. the verification email came instantly instead of the usual 24 hour wait. their server uptime during the last nfp was flawless from where i sat. i held positions over the weekend a bunch of times and never got penalised. they honoured a payout even though i fat fingered a lot size, very fair. their economic calendar integration is a small thing but i use it daily.

finally a firm that pays

Went with teh smallest account size to keep the risk low while i learned. no surprise inactivity fees which i half expected to get hit with. i appreciated that they email you before a rule change instead of springing it. the trailing drawdown is reasonable if you size your positions like an adult. man spreads are fine … nothing crazy … nothing terrible … it is a prop firm not a charity. first withdrawal i was sweating bullets but it came through clean and on time.

funded and paid

Picked these guys mostly because of the discount code floating around. the challenge timer is generous, i never felt rushed into bad trades. crypto and wire both supported, i did wire and it hit my bank in two business days. i tested the live account against the demo with the same setups and it matched. i had a margin scare during cpi and the platform held up without freezing. sticking around until they give me a reason not to.
