Additional Rules

Single-phase evaluation with a 6% profit target and 1-day minimum: The Pro challenge requires reaching a $3,000 profit target on a $50,000 account. Crucially, the Pro plan can be passed in a single trading day — the minimum is just 1 qualifying profitable session. There is no time limit, meaning traders can take as long as needed, but the speed advantage of the Pro is that a sufficiently profitable single session can complete the entire evaluation.
No daily loss limit during evaluation and funded stages: The Pro plan imposes no daily loss limit at any stage. There is no session-level cap on how much an account can lose in a single day — the only restriction is the $2,000 maximum total drawdown. This absence of a daily limit gives Pro traders maximum intraday flexibility, particularly for strategies that require wider intraday swings or that do not close positions before end of day.
Maximum drawdown of $2,000 — EOD (End-of-Day): The total loss limit is $2,000, calculated on an End-of-Day basis. The EOD floor updates only at session close based on the closing balance. Starting at $50,000, the initial floor is $48,000. If the account closes Day 1 at $51,000, the new floor becomes $49,000. The absence of a daily limit means the entire $2,000 drawdown can theoretically be consumed in a single session if a trade goes substantially against the position — making the EOD structure both flexible and demanding.
No consistency rule during the evaluation phase: Unlike the Standard plan which enforces a 40% consistency rule throughout both evaluation and funded stages, the Pro evaluation imposes no consistency rule. A trader can generate the entire $3,000 profit target in a single session without any impact on evaluation eligibility. Only past the evaluation — in the funded stage — does a 35% consistency rule apply.
Consistency rule of 35% applies in the funded stage only: Once in the funded account, no single trading day may account for 35% or more of the total profits accumulated in the current payout cycle. If one day's profit reaches or exceeds 35% of total funded profits, a payout cannot be requested until further trading brings the ratio below 35%. The 35% funded consistency rule is slightly more lenient than the Standard's 40% in dollar terms — since it blocks payouts at a lower threshold, requiring traders to spread profitable sessions more deliberately.
5 winning days required for each funded payout: Despite the 1-day minimum to pass the challenge, the funded account requires 5 winning days per payout cycle before a withdrawal can be requested. Each qualifying day must generate a minimum net profit of $100 on a $50,000 Pro funded account. This creates a meaningful gap between the speed of passing the evaluation (1 day) and the minimum timeline for the first funded payout (5 winning days of $100+).
Funded payout caps start at $1,000 and increase with payout history: The first funded payout is capped at $1,000, meaning even if the buffer generates a larger withdrawable amount, the maximum accessible per cycle early on is $1,000. The cap increases to $1,250 from the third payout onward and to $1,500 after the fifth, rewarding consistent long-term funded trading with greater single-cycle withdrawal access.
Maximum contracts of 6 Mini available from day one in the funded stage: With no contract scaling restriction, Pro funded traders can immediately operate at full capacity. This is a significant advantage over Standard funded accounts, where the same 6-Mini capacity requires building $4,000 to $6,000 in profits first.
News trading restrictions: No positions may be opened, closed, or held — including pending and limit orders — within 5 minutes before or after any red folder news release (FOMC, CPI, NFP, PMI, PPI, Employment Reports, JOLTS, Trump and Powell Speeches). During evaluation, news trading is permitted as part of an overall strategy but cannot be the sole basis for passing — additional non-news trades must be present for account review.
No daily loss limit makes single-session risk concentration dangerous: Without a daily cap, the entire $2,000 drawdown buffer can be consumed in one adverse session if sizing is not controlled. A trader running 6 Mini contracts through a volatile session with no stop loss can lose the entire account in seconds without any daily mechanism to prevent it. The Pro plan requires stronger self-imposed risk management than the Standard precisely because the protective daily limit is absent.
1-day pass advantage comes with a funded delay: The ability to pass the evaluation in a single day does not translate to immediate payout access. The 5-winning-day requirement in the funded stage means the earliest possible first payout is at least 5 funded trading days after passing — making the actual time-to-first-payout longer in practice than the challenge completion speed suggests.
Buffer model creates ongoing eligibility management: The $2,100 funded buffer must always be maintained. After each withdrawal, if the remaining account profit falls below $2,100, no further payouts are possible until profits rebuild above the buffer. Traders who withdraw the maximum available amount each cycle must ensure the post-payout balance supports continued trading above the buffer floor.

Scaling Plan

No position-based scaling restriction in the Pro plan: Unlike the Standard plan which begins the funded stage with reduced contract access and scales upward through profit milestones, the Pro plan provides full contract access of 6 Mini contracts and 60 Micro contracts from the first funded trade. Traders are not required to build profits before accessing maximum position capacity.
Funded buffer system instead of payout targets: The Pro funded account operates on a buffer model rather than fixed payout profit targets. A funded buffer of $2,100 must remain in the account at all times. Once profits exceed this buffer, traders may withdraw up to 50% of the profits above the buffer at any time, subject to weekly payout scheduling and consistency requirements. This provides ongoing, flexible access to earned profits without predetermined target milestones.
Progressive payout cap structure: Payout caps on Pro funded accounts increase with payout history. The first payout is capped at $1,000, payouts three through five are capped at $1,250, and all payouts beyond the fifth are capped at $1,500. This progressive structure rewards traders who remain consistently funded over time with progressively larger single-payout access.
Profit split structure: The first $15,000 of total profits withdrawn from the funded account are paid at a 100% split — the trader keeps every dollar. All profits beyond the first $15,000 are paid at a 90% split, creating a powerful initial funded performance incentive.
Maximum capital access: Blue Guardian Futures offers funded allocations up to $450,000, accessible through consistent performance across multiple funded accounts.
