Additional Rules

Single-phase evaluation with a 6% profit target: The Standard challenge requires reaching a $9,000 profit target on a $150,000 account with no time limit. Profit is measured on closed balance — all positions must be flat before the target is confirmed.
No time limit: The Standard challenge has no expiry date. Traders can take as long as needed to reach the $9,000 target while respecting all drawdown rules, making disciplined patience a viable and rewarded strategy.
Minimum 5 profitable trading days required for evaluation review: At least 5 winning trading days must be recorded in the evaluation before the account advances to funded status. Days with a net loss or breakeven do not count. This requirement cannot be bypassed by hitting the profit target early.
Daily loss limit of $3,750 — Hard Breach: On a $150,000 account, equity or balance must never fall below $3,750 below the start-of-day balance at any point during the session. The hard breach mechanism means account termination is immediate and permanent the moment this threshold is touched — there is no warning or recovery opportunity. With 9 Mini contracts available during the challenge, a single adverse move of sufficient magnitude can consume the entire daily limit in one trade.
Maximum drawdown of $5,000 — EOD (End-of-Day): The total loss limit is $5,000, calculated on an End-of-Day basis. The EOD floor updates only at session close based on closing balance, not intraday equity peaks. If the account closes at $153,000, the new floor becomes $148,000. While the floor does not move from intraday unrealized gains, live equity must never fall below the current floor at any point during any session.
Position scaling in funded starts at 2 Mini contracts: The funded account begins with a 2-Mini ceiling regardless of the 9-Mini capacity available during the challenge. Traders must generate more than $6,000 in funded profits — across a progressively scaling path — before unlocking the full 9-Mini capacity. This creates a structured warm-up period in the funded stage that can significantly slow early payout accumulation.
Largest Standard account with the most contract capacity: The $150,000 Standard is the largest account in the Standard lineup and the only tier that unlocks the 9-Mini / 90-Micro maximum — but only after generating more than $6,000 in funded profits. The evaluation itself allows 9 Minis from the start, creating a gap between what is available during the challenge and what is immediately accessible in the funded stage.
Consistency rule of 40% in both evaluation and funded: No single trading day may account for 40% or more of total profits at any given point. If the highest profit day represents 40% or more of total profits, trading must continue until the ratio falls below 40% before passing or requesting a payout. On a $150,000 account generating $9,000 in total profits with a $3,600 best day (40%), the trader would need to continue trading until total profits exceed $9,001 — a single dollar's additional profit from another session resolves the tie, since the rule triggers at exactly 40% or greater.
Payout targets in the funded stage: The first payout requires $9,000 in profit (6% of starting balance), the second requires $6,000 (4%), and all subsequent payouts require $6,000 (4%) each. Both the payout target and the 40% consistency rule must be met simultaneously before each withdrawal.
Payout cap of $4,000 per withdrawal: Each payout request is capped at $4,000 on a $150,000 Standard funded account regardless of total accumulated profits. This is the highest payout cap in the Standard lineup.
News trading restrictions: No positions may be opened, closed, or held — including pending and limit orders — within 5 minutes before or after any red folder news release (FOMC, CPI, NFP, PMI, PPI, Employment Reports, JOLTS, Trump and Powell Speeches). During evaluation, news trading is permitted as part of an overall strategy but cannot be the sole basis for passing the account — additional non-news trades must be present for account review.
$9,000 profit target is the largest in the Standard lineup: Generating $9,000 across at least 5 qualifying profitable sessions on a $150,000 account requires sustained and meaningful performance. Averaging $1,800 per qualifying session across 5 days is a demanding bar, particularly under the constraint that no single day exceeds 40% of total profits — capping any single session's contribution at $3,600 once the target is reached.
Hard breach at $3,750 creates the highest absolute daily risk in the Standard lineup: With $3,750 of daily hard breach exposure, the $150,000 Standard carries the largest single-session risk of any Standard account. With 9 Mini contracts available during the evaluation, an adverse intraday move of approximately 41 ES points on full contract size would consume the entire daily allowance in one position. Position sizing discipline is critical at this account size.
Unlocking full contract capacity requires sustained funded profitability: The $150,000 funded account's 9-Mini ceiling is only accessible after generating more than $6,000 in funded profits — the most demanding contract unlock condition in the Standard lineup. A trader who aims for the first payout target of $9,000 will only access the full contract capacity in the final stages of their first payout cycle, meaning most early funded trading occurs at 2-4 Mini capacity.

Scaling Plan

Position-based scaling within the funded account: Blue Guardian Futures applies a structured position scaling model on Standard funded accounts. The number of contracts available grows progressively as profits accumulate, preventing over-leveraging early in the funded stage and rewarding consistent performance with greater exposure capacity.
Below $1,000 in profit: Traders may hold a maximum of 2 Mini contracts and 20 Micro contracts simultaneously. This conservative starting allocation ensures new funded traders build initial profits with controlled risk before accessing larger position sizes.
$1,000 to $2,000 in profit: The maximum position size increases to 3 Mini contracts and 30 Micro contracts, reflecting demonstrated ability to generate consistent funded returns.
$2,000 to $4,000 in profit: Position capacity grows to 4 Mini contracts and 40 Micro contracts, allowing traders to scale in step with their accumulated funded profits.
$4,000 to $6,000 in profit: Contract access expands to 6 Mini contracts and 60 Micro contracts, approaching the maximum funded-stage position capacity for this account tier.
Above $6,000 in profit: Traders reach the maximum allowed position size for the $150,000 Standard funded account — 9 Mini contracts and 90 Micro contracts. This is the ceiling for position capacity at this tier and requires substantial prior funded profitability to unlock.
Profit split structure: The first $15,000 of total profits withdrawn from the funded account are paid at a 100% split — the trader keeps every dollar. All profits beyond the first $15,000 are paid at a 90% split, creating a powerful short-term income incentive during the initial funded trading phase.
Maximum capital access: Blue Guardian Futures offers funded allocations up to $450,000, accessible through consistent performance across multiple funded accounts.
