Additional Rules
Single-phase evaluation with a 6% profit target: The EOD challenge requires reaching $3,000 in profits on a $50,000 account. There is no time limit — the evaluation can be completed at any pace. All positions must be fully closed before the profit target is confirmed. The account balance, not equity, must reach the profit target level with all positions flat.
No time limit: The EOD evaluation has no deadline. Traders can take as long as needed to reach the $3,000 profit target while respecting all drawdown rules.
No daily loss limit during evaluation: The EOD challenge imposes no daily loss cap. The only risk boundary during evaluation is the 4% EOD trailing drawdown. Traders have maximum intraday session flexibility to manage positions according to their own strategy.
EOD trailing drawdown of 4% — $2,000: The maximum loss limit is $2,000, calculated on an End-of-Day trailing basis. The floor begins at $48,000 ($50,000 − $2,000). As the account closes each session at a new high, the floor trails upward permanently. If the account closes Day 1 at $51,000, the new floor becomes $49,000. The floor only moves upward — it never decreases. Breach of the trailing floor at any session close permanently terminates the evaluation.
50% consistency rule during evaluation: No single trading day may represent 50% or more of total profits at any point. If the highest profit day represents 50% or more of total profits, the evaluation cannot be completed until additional trading brings the ratio below 50%. On a $50,000 EOD account, generating $1,500 in a single session out of $3,000 total (50%) blocks completion — total profits must exceed $3,000 to bring that day's contribution below 50%.
Daily loss limit of 2.5% ($1,250) activates in the funded stage — Soft Breach: Once funded, a soft daily loss limit of $1,250 applies. Unlike a hard breach, the soft breach pauses trading for the remainder of that session when hit, automatically resetting the next trading day. The account is not terminated — trading continues the following session with a fresh daily allowance. This is a meaningful structural difference from the evaluation phase where no daily limit exists.
30% consistency rule in the funded stage: No single trading day may represent 30% or more of total funded profits when a payout is requested. If the best day represents 30% or more, additional trading is required before a payout can be submitted. The 30% threshold is tighter than the 50% evaluation rule, creating more demanding consistency management in the funded stage.
Overnight and weekend holding prohibited: All positions must be closed before the end of the trading session (16:00–17:00 CT break). Positions may not be carried overnight or held through weekend market closures. This applies in both the evaluation and funded stages.
News trading in evaluation: Fully permitted with no restrictions during the challenge phase.
News trading in funded stage: Restricted — a 2-minute buffer applies around high-impact news events. No positions may be opened, closed, or triggered within 2 minutes before or after a scheduled release. Positions opened before the window began may be held through the event.
Payout windows: Funded account payouts can be requested during two fixed windows each month — the 5th through 8th, and the 20th through 23rd. Payouts outside these windows are not processed. Payout processing takes 2 business days from submission.
7 winning days required per payout cycle: Before each payout request, 7 winning trading days must be completed. A winning day is any day where net P&L reaches at least 0.2% of the account balance ($100 on a $50,000 funded account). Days below this threshold do not count toward the 7-day requirement.
50% consistency in evaluation creates hidden evaluation extension: Generating exactly $1,500 in a single session and $1,500 more across other sessions ($3,000 total) technically meets the profit target but still blocks completion if that single day represents exactly 50% of total profits. The trader must generate an additional $1 in any other session to bring the ratio below 50%, effectively requiring total profits to exceed $3,000 before the 50% rule is fully cleared on a balanced evaluation.
EOD trailing floor rises with every profitable close: Each session that closes at a new balance high permanently raises the trailing floor. A trader who strings together several profitable sessions will find the EOD floor has risen substantially, reducing the absolute dollar buffer available for future adverse sessions. In a scenario where the account grows from $50,000 to $52,800 before a bad session, the floor is at $50,800 — leaving only $1,200 of buffer against the starting $2,000. Disciplined session management is required throughout the entire evaluation.

Scaling Plan
Accumulate multiple funded accounts up to $750,000: GOAT Funded Futures allows traders to hold up to 5 simultaneously funded EOD accounts. By purchasing and passing multiple EOD challenges, traders can stack their funded capital up to a maximum total allocation of $750,000 across the brand.
Performance-based path to a live account: Traders who demonstrate sustained funded account performance become eligible for review and potential transition to a live funded account. The criteria for live account access are assessed on a case-by-case basis, with scaling opportunities within the live account environment reviewed separately.
Reward tier system: GOAT Funded Futures operates a milestone-based reward system, unlocking prizes and account perks as traders reach performance milestones within their funded accounts. All rewards and tier benefits are accessible directly from the trader dashboard at no additional cost.
EOD trailing drawdown locks at starting balance: As the funded account generates profits, the EOD trailing floor rises with each profitable session close. Once profits are sufficient for the trailing floor to reach the starting balance level, the drawdown locks permanently at the starting balance for the remainder of the funded account's lifecycle, providing permanent downside protection from the initial capital level.
No activation fee: Traders who pass the EOD evaluation are activated onto their funded account at zero additional cost — the full funded capital is accessible without any activation payment.
