Additional Rules
Two-phase evaluation: On a $200,000 account, traders must generate $20,000 in Phase 1 and $10,000 in Phase 2 in closed profits while respecting all drawdown rules.
Minimum profitable days: At least 3 valid trading days in each phase and per payout cycle. Minimum profit of 0.5% ($1,000) per qualifying day.
Daily loss limit of 5% (dynamic): Calculated as 5% of the current higher balance or equity. Starting from initial balance, approximately $10,000 on a $200,000 account.
Maximum drawdown of 10% static: The absolute floor is $180,000 on a $200,000 account.
Static drawdown model: Maximum drawdown from initial balance; daily limit is dynamic.
Leverage: 1:100 Forex in evaluation, 1:50 in funded. Indices/Commodities 1:20 / 1:10. Crypto 1:2.
Profit split: 80% default, 100% and on-demand first reward available as add-ons.
Payout frequency: Bi-weekly. First 2 payouts capped at 6% ($12,000) or $10,000, whichever is lower. At $200,000, the cap is $10,000 per payout for the first two withdrawals.
Daily profit cap: $3,000 in funded stage. At $200,000, a $10,000 daily loss is permitted while maximum daily earnings are capped at $3,000 — a 3.33:1 loss-to-gain asymmetry in the funded stage.
News trading: In funded, 1% profit cap ($2,000) per news event.
EAs allowed with restrictions. Copy trading banned. Weekend/overnight holding permitted.
Largest 2-Step Standard account: At $200,000, this is the highest tier in the 2-Step Standard lineup. Generating $30,000 across both evaluation phases while staying within a $20,000 total drawdown buffer requires excellent consistency over an extended period.
$10,000 daily loss vs $3,000 daily profit cap: At $200,000, the daily loss exposure is more than 3x the maximum daily earnings cap, creating a heavily asymmetric risk-to-reward environment in the funded stage. Traders must actively avoid large losing sessions while their earning upside is capped regardless of how strong market conditions are.
Phase 1 target of $20,000 is the highest in GFT's 2-step lineup: Requiring $20,000 across at least 3 qualifying sessions ($1,000 minimum per day) demands a high level of consistent performance before reaching Phase 2, making this the most demanding entry point of any evaluation model in the GFT catalog.
