Additional Rules

Three-phase evaluation: Traders must reach a 4% profit target in Step 1, a 6% profit target in Step 2, and a 6% profit target in Step 3, all with no time limit and a minimum of 3 profitable trading days per step.
Static total drawdown: The maximum total drawdown is fixed at 7% of the initial balance across all three challenge phases and the funded stage, calculated from the starting equity and never trailing. On a €15,000 account, the maximum allowable total loss is €1,050.
Daily drawdown limit: A strict 3% daily loss limit applies across all three challenge steps and the funded phase, calculated from the day's starting equity and resetting daily at 23:59:59 CET. On a €15,000 account, this means a maximum daily loss of €450 at all times.
Tightest drawdown in SpiceProp lineup: With a 3% daily limit and a 7% total drawdown, the Cayenne Pepper is the most conservative risk structure across all SpiceProp programs, designed to reward disciplined, low-risk traders.
Minimum profitable days: At least 3 profitable trading days are required in each of the three steps. A day counts as profitable only if both balance and equity increase by at least 0.5% by the end of the trading day.
Fee refund on passing: The full €60 challenge entry fee is refunded and counted toward the first payout after successfully passing all three evaluation steps.
First payout availability: The first withdrawal can be requested 14 days after the funded account is opened, with subsequent payouts available every 14 days after the previous withdrawal.
Weekend and overnight holding: Permitted with no restrictions or add-ons required, offering full flexibility for swing traders who hold positions across sessions and weekends.
News trading: Permitted across all instruments, though slippage during high-impact news events cannot be controlled by SpiceProp and is the trader's responsibility.
EAs allowed: Expert Advisors are permitted on the MetaTrader platform. Hidden, exploitative, or arbitrage-based strategies are strictly prohibited.
Copy trading prohibited: Copying signals or other traders' accounts is strictly forbidden and results in immediate account closure.
Inactivity rule: Accounts with 30 consecutive days of no trading activity will be closed automatically, regardless of account stage or phase.
Leverage: 1:30 across all instruments, the lowest available across SpiceProp programs, requiring larger account sizes or tighter position sizing to generate meaningful returns within the profit targets.
Three-step commitment: With three separate evaluation phases to pass, each requiring at least 3 profitable days and their own profit targets, the total time investment before reaching the funded stage is significantly longer than 1-step or 2-step programs.
Escalating profit targets: Step 1 requires only 4%, but Steps 2 and 3 each require 6%, meaning the challenge becomes progressively harder. A trader who barely passes Step 1 may face increased pressure in the later stages.
3% daily limit throughout all phases: Unlike programs where the funded phase has different rules, the Cayenne Pepper maintains the same tight 3% daily limit across all three challenge steps and the funded account, leaving no room for adjustment after evaluation.
0.5% profitable day threshold: Both balance and equity must close above the 0.5% threshold for a day to count as profitable. A session that ends in a small net gain but with floating losses may not qualify, requiring traders to close all positions before end of day.
Two consecutive profitable months requirement: The scaling trigger demands two back-to-back profitable months, meaning one bad month resets progress entirely, penalizing inconsistent traders disproportionately given the already conservative risk parameters.
Not available to US traders: SpiceProp does not accept registrations from traders based in the United States, Canada, Japan, and several other restricted jurisdictions.

Scaling Plan

Performance-based balance increase: After every two consecutive profitable months in the funded account, the account balance increases by 40%, rewarding traders who demonstrate sustained consistency over time.
Maximum capital ceiling: The Cayenne Pepper scaling plan allows traders to grow up to €500,000 in simulated capital, making it a strong mid-tier option for traders focused on long-term growth.
Consecutive month requirement: The 40% increase is only triggered by two back-to-back profitable months. A single profitable month followed by a losing month resets the consecutive streak, delaying the next scale-up.
Consistent rules throughout scaling: The daily drawdown limit, total drawdown limit, minimum profitable days requirement, and all trading rules remain unchanged as the account scales. Only the euro amounts increase proportionally with the new balance.
Up to 2 accounts allowed: Traders can hold up to 2 simultaneous Cayenne Pepper accounts, allowing for parallel scaling paths across multiple funded accounts.
Fee refund on passing: The full challenge entry fee for all three steps is refunded and counted toward the first payout after successfully completing all three phases of the evaluation.
