BlueBerry Funded
Blueberry Funded sounds harmless — broker-backed, institutional infrastructure, scaling to $2 million. Then you start reading. News trades near high-impact events get slashed to a 40% profit split. EAs cost extra and aren't included by default. Switch from EA to manual after passing and that's a violation. Three strikes before termination sounds generous until you read what counts as a strike. Read the T&Cs before you buy — not after.

Who Is This Firm For?
About BlueBerry Funded
Simple rules, familiar structure, nothing that immediately raises questions.
Then you start reading the details… and realize this isn’t just a rulebook.
It’s more like a system designed to observe not only what you trade, but how, when, and occasionally why you thought that was a good idea.
And yes, they pay attention to details. Sometimes very small ones.

Strict rules designed to fail you
Their pricing and promotions drew me in. The product itself is lacking. Their Discord moderators ban anyone who posts critical questions. If you like fighting with support, by all means sign up.— Verified Trader (isabella kim) See all reviews
The 1.5% trade idea rule is the most commonly misunderstood rule — any re-entry in the same direction within 10 minutes of a previous loss counts toward the same combined limit. If your first trade lost 1%, you have 0.5% remaining for that idea window. The news restriction applies to automatic TP and SL executions too — not just manual trades. On Instant accounts, calculate how much buffer remains before withdrawing profits.
Trading Conditions
Drawdown System
- 1.5% trade idea rule: initial position + re-entries same direction within 10 minutes = one idea
- Combined loss across trade idea cannot exceed 1.5% of initial balance
- Instant accounts: drawdown does not reset after withdrawals — profits withdrawal leaves thin buffer
- 30-day inactivity: account may be suspended
- Applies to: 1-Step, 2-Step, Instant Lite, Instant Elite
High-Frequency & Fast Trading
- Not Allowed:
- Re-entries in same direction within 10 minutes after loss counted as same trade idea
- Fast reactive trading after losses — behavioral pattern monitoring
- Copying from external accounts or other traders
Low Liquidity & Timing
- News window: no opening or closing trades 2 minutes before/after high-impact news
- Applies to both evaluation and funded accounts
- TP hit during window: profits may be voided — even if trade not manually touched
- Exception: trade opened 6+ hours before news hitting SL — allowed
Loss-Chasing & Gambling
- Not Allowed:
- Re-entries in same direction within 10 minutes of a loss — counted toward 1.5% combined cap
- Fast decisions after losses that constitute reactive trading patterns
- Adjusting positions actively around news events
- Copy trading from external accounts or other traders
Risk Management
- 1.5% trade idea cap enforced on funded accounts — 1-Step, 2-Step, Instant Lite, Instant Elite
- Trade idea defined as: initial position + same-direction re-entries within 10 minutes
- Copy trading: personal accounts only — external copying prohibited
- Instant account drawdown: does not reset after withdrawals — structural risk after profit withdrawal
- Trustpilot: 37% one-star — profile flagged for review credibility concerns
Blueberry Funded - Trading Conditions & Rules
News Trading
- - No opening or closing trades:
- - 2 minutes before and after high-impact news
Applies to:
- Evaluation accounts
- Funded accounts
Important detail:
- - If your take profit gets hit during that window,
→ profits may be voided
Exception:
- - If the trade was opened 6+ hours before news and hits SL → allowed
So your entry matters.
Your exit matters.
And apparently, your timing matters even when you’re not touching the trade.
Drawdown Adjustment Rule (Instant Accounts)
- - Max drawdown does not reset after withdrawals
- - Withdrawing most profits can leave your account with:
- - almost no buffer
You made money. Great.
Now try not to remove too much of it, or the account becomes… structurally sensitive.
Copy Trading
- - Allowed between personal accounts only
You can copy yourself.
Which is reassuring, assuming you trust your own decisions.
1.5% Risk Per Trade Idea (Funded Only)
- - A “trade idea” includes:
- - The initial position
- - Any re-entries in the same direction within 10 minutes after a loss
- - Combined loss must not exceed:
- - 1.5% of the initial balance
Applies to:
So it’s not just one trade being evaluated.
It’s your entire thought process within a short time window.
Inactivity Rule
- - You must place at least one trade every 30 days
- - Otherwise, your account may be suspended
Even not trading requires participation.
Consistency goes both ways.
The Part That Raises Eyebrows
Blueberry Funded doesn’t just stand out for its rules.
- - Around 37% of it's TrustPilot reviews are 1-star
- - Common complaints include:
- - Payout denials
- - Accounts flagged after trading activity
There have also been concerns about review credibility, including attempts to influence ratings.
To be fair, the rules exist.
But many traders only seem to fully understand them… after something goes wrong.
Final Take
Blueberry Funded is highly focused on:
- - Trade timing
- - Behavioral patterns
- - Risk aggregation across trades
The structure is not overly complex.
But it is very precise in how it evaluates what you do.
If you:
- - Trade calmly
- - Avoid reactive re-entries
- - Keep things structured
You’ll likely be fine.
If your style involves:
- - Fast decisions after losses
- - Letting trades close naturally around news
- - Or adjusting positions actively
You may start discovering just how detailed these rules actually are.

Execution was terrible during news
Felt the urge to write this after my third support ticket went unanswered. My account was terminated for a rule violation nobody could explain. This review will probably get buried by their affiliate reviewers.
Serviceable
Picked them because a friend had a decent but not great experience. Discord community is active but official staff rarely engage there. Three stars feels about right for my experience.
A cautionary tale
Was a customer for about four months before I had enough. Documentation contradicts itself in multiple places. Will not be back, and I hope readers listen.
Overpromise, underdeliver
Their customer acquisition is stronger than their customer retention. When I disputed a breach, their response was dismissive and formulaic. Looking forward to never logging into their dashboard again.
I keep switching between positive and negative
Comparing them to my main firm, they come out somewhere in the middle. Scaling plan exists but the milestones are harder to reach than advertised. On balance, a pass grade. Nothing higher.
Some wins, some frustrations
Not the best firm I have tried, but also far from the worst. The challenge is fair but the funded-account conditions feel slightly different. My vote is somewhere between a lukewarm yes and a lukewarm no.
Fine enough to stay for now
First prop firm experience, so calibrating my expectations. Some payouts were fast, others took nearly three weeks. Could go either way depending on what you need from a prop firm.
Middle of the road
Picked them because a friend had a decent but not great experience. Two of my three disputes were resolved quickly. The third is still open. Could go either way depending on what you need from a prop firm.
Disappointed after reading great reviews
Took me four months to really understand how bad it was. My payout was approved but never actually arrived in my bank account. Deleting their app and blocking their emails.
Their rules are enforcement traps
I want to warn other traders before they make my mistake. Spread widening during news is absurd compared to what a normal broker offers. Save your money and try a more reputable competitor.
