Earn2trade
Earn2Trade is one of the older names in the futures prop space and one of the few that pairs a challenge with actual trading education. Whether you need the education is your business. The pass rate is among the better ones in futures. That part is ours.

Serious traders will appreciate it
Passed on my second attempt after a tough first go. The profit split feels fair relative to the challenge fee. Happy to keep trading here and would sign up again if I had to.— Verified Trader (Lucas Brown) See all reviews
The 30% daily PnL cap is the most misunderstood rule — it applies to your entire evaluation, not just one day. If NFP generates 35% of your total profit on one session, the whole evaluation is void regardless of how disciplined every other day was. Read the Progression Ladder contract limits before your first trade — exceeding them doesn't end your evaluation but blocks you until the next CME trading day, which on Fridays means the weekend. The $4,000 LiveSim cap applies to your first withdrawal — plan your funded stage around it.

Earn2Trade – Trading Conditions
News Trading
● News trading is allowed — no explicit ban in the T&C
● All positions & working orders must be closed by 3:50 PM CT until 5:00 PM CT — the market closure window applies daily across all accounts
● Daily PnL limit → no single trading day can exceed 30% of your total PnL over the course of the evaluation
The daily PnL limit is the most significant rule for news traders. A single exceptional news day that generates more than 30% of your total profits can disqualify the entire evaluation — regardless of how well you traded every other day. Plan accordingly.
Forbidden Trading Practices
● Employing strategies designed to take advantage of platform errors or price display delays
● Engaging in disruptive trading practices including spoofing
● Executing an unrealistic number of contracts in a single day
● Collaborating to manipulate or abuse the trading environment — including trading between connected accounts or hedging across unrelated accounts
● Utilizing software, artificial intelligence or ultra-fast data entry techniques that provide an unfair advantage
● Trading in a manner inconsistent with actual futures market practices
● Using tools or strategies that exploit platform technical flaws
● Bypassing geographical or other technical restrictions
● Trading on behalf of others or sharing incentives through any business arrangement
● Trade copiers — explicitly prohibited across all accounts, including after passing
● Progression Ladder violations — exceeding the allowed number of open futures contracts for your current ladder level
The Progression Ladder rule is unique to Earn2Trade & worth reading carefully before you start. It limits how many contracts you can have open at any time based on your current level — designed to prevent overtrading & encourage disciplined position sizing. Breach it & your account is blocked until the next trading day.
Expert Advisors
● EAs are allowed — automated trading is permitted
● EAs that exploit platform errors or manipulate the trading environment → prohibited
● Ultra-fast execution tools designed to gain unfair advantage → prohibited
● Trade copiers → explicitly prohibited, including to pass multiple accounts simultaneously
Earn2Trade is more permissive on EAs than most firms in this space. The line is drawn at exploitation & manipulation — not at automation itself.
Copy Trading
● Trade copiers prohibited — across all accounts, evaluation & funded
● Using trade copiers to pass multiple accounts simultaneously → results in receiving only one funded account, no refunds on the rest
● Trading on behalf of others → prohibited
● Coordinated trading across connected accounts → prohibited
The trade copier policy is enforced retroactively — if you're found to have used copiers to pass, you keep one account & lose the rest with no refund. Worth noting before running the same strategy across multiple evaluations simultaneously.

The Progression Ladder
Earn2Trade's Progression Ladder is the most distinctive feature of their evaluation — & the one most traders from forex backgrounds find unexpected.
● Contract limits increase progressively as you advance through evaluation levels
● Exceeding your current level's contract limit → immediate account block until next CME trading day
● Intentional violations → evaluation removed without refund & ineligibility for funding
It's a bit like a driving test that starts you in a car park before letting you on the motorway — the structure exists precisely because futures contracts carry real leverage & real risk, & the ladder is Earn2Trade's way of making sure you know what you're doing before you scale up.
LiveSim® — Maximum Withdrawal
● Maximum withdrawal from a LiveSim® account → $4,000 regardless of account size
● To withdraw the full $4,000 → trader must reach $5,000 profit (20% deducted by partner prop firm)
● Billing → subscription auto-renews 30 days after initial purchase
● Inactivity → LiveSim® accounts inactive for 120 days are disabled
The $4,000 withdrawal cap is the most significant limitation in the funded stage & one most traders don't notice until they're already there. It applies regardless of how much capital was allocated. If your goal is unlimited scaling, check the partner firm's terms before you start.
Subscription Model — What It Means
Unlike most prop firms that charge a one-time evaluation fee, Earn2Trade operates on a monthly subscription:
● Gauntlet Mini™ & Trader Career Path® auto-renew 30 days after purchase
● Rebilling does not reset the Gauntlet Mini™ evaluation
● Trader Career Path® subscribers receive one free reset after every rebill
● No refunds after purchase — all fees are final
The subscription model means you're paying monthly until you pass or cancel. For traders who take longer than one month to complete an evaluation, the total cost adds up in a way that a one-time fee doesn't.
Final Take
Earn2Trade is the oldest & most educationally-focused firm on this list — and the only one built specifically for futures traders. The 4.7/5 on Trustpilot across 4,790 reviews & a Hidden Rules Meter of 2.0/10 reflect a firm that does what it says, pays its traders & responds to every negative review within a week.
The subscription model, the $4,000 LiveSim® withdrawal cap & the Progression Ladder are the three things worth understanding before you commit. None of them are dealbreakers — but all three are different enough from standard prop firm structures that traders coming from forex CFD firms consistently underestimate them.
If futures trading is your market — Earn2Trade is the most established evaluation path available.
Hidden Rules Meter: 2.0/10 — Trust Score: 4.4/5 — Trustpilot: 4.7/5.

good for swing traders
a coworker who trades pointed me toward them. their reset option after a breach is cheaper than buying a whole new eval. honestly the rules made my retail trading better too, forced discipline and all that. the trailing drawdown is reasonable if you size your positions like an adult. first withdrawal i was sweating bullets but it came through clean and on time. passed first try, paid first request, recommending without a second thought.
payouts hit on time
Needed a new firm after my last one shut down. the withdrawal request i submitted on a tuesday was sitting in my bank by thursday morning. the drawdown is calculated on balance not equity which honestly saved me a few times. payout came through with zero fees deducted, what i requested is what i received. the payout actually hit my account in like two days which i did not expect. the buffer between daily loss and max loss gives you breathing room on a bad day. i will renew when this account runs its course, simple as that.
glad i picked these guys
Saw an ad mid scroll and ended up buying an account that night. i got a partial refund of my fee back with my first payout which i wasnt expecting. they honoured a payout even though i fat fingered a lot size, very fair. i had a margin scare during cpi and the platform held up without freezing. they refunded my eval fee when i got funded which was a nice surprise. i emailed about a deduction i didnt understand and they explained it within the hour. sticking around until they give me a reason not to.
money landed no fuss
First prop firm i actually stuck with long enough to get funded. payouts are biweekly on funded accounts which is way better than the monthly firms. i had a losing month and they did not nuke my account … just the usual rules applied. i like that they show your stats in real time instead of a delayed dashboard. their live chat actually connected me to a person not a bot loop for twenty minutes. the challenge timer is generous … i never felt rushed into bad trades. solid firm, fair terms, would happily fund another account here.
pleasantly boring
came here after getting burned somewhere else and starting over. slippage outside of high impact news is basically a non issue for me. the minimum trading days is low so you can get funded fast if youre actually profitable. they paused my consistency tracker when i asked for a couple weeks off … super flexible. the second phase target was lower than phase one which kept me sane. got my first payout via crypto and it landed in under an hour after approval.
glad i gave them a shot
Signed up on a whim after a podcast mention. fees are reasonable for what you get and the retake discount softens the blow. trades closed at my stop exactly, no requote nonsense or sneaky slippage at the level. the challenge rules are strict but at least they are written in plain english for once.
no drama just trades
Long time retail trader … first time messing with a prop firm. the demo and funded feeds matched closely enough that i trusted my backtests. execution during london open has been clean even when spreads widen everywhere else. the consistency rule is generous enough that one good day doesnt disqualify your whole payout. been with them six months and the payout reliability is the main reason im still here. happy to keep them as my main while i test others on the side. I don't see the point of some of the rules, man.
real firm, real money
got tired of demo trading and figured a challenge would force me to focus. there is a discord and staff actually show up in it occasionally. kyc was painless, uploaded my id and got verified the same afternoon. their mobile app is basic but it does let me check my account on the go. i got a small payout bonus for hitting a milestone which was unexpected. happy customer, happy wallet, would absolutely do it again.
passed second attempt
Finally pulled teh trigger after comparing like six firms on a spreadsheet. i passed phase two and the payout eligibility kicked in exactly when they said it would. no hidden gotchas on the payout page, what they say is what you actually get. tbh my market orders fill basically where i click, slippage has been almost nothing so far. would tell a friend to join without hesitation.
fast payouts, dated ui
I scalp news sometimes so i specifically checked thier rules first this time. support replied way faster than my actual broker which is kinda sad when you think about it. drawdown is end of day based not intraday so a quick wick against me doesnt kill teh account. the verification email came instantly instead of the usual 24 hour wait. you get a real account dashboard with trade history and stats not just a balance number. bro passed, paid, repeat, that is the cycle and it has held up.
