Hyper Ticks
Hyperticks launched in August 2025 with four futures models — including a Pro account that drops the consistency rule entirely on the sim funded stage — and pricing that's aggressive enough to make you wonder what they know about acquisition that other firms don't. The subscription structure is unusual and worth reading before you commit

Before you pick a model, check whether you need overnight holding in your strategy — if yes, Hyperticks isn't the right fit regardless of which model you choose. If you're a day trader, the Pro model's lack of a daily loss limit is genuinely one of the more flexible structures in the futures prop space right now.

Hyperticks – Trading Conditions (Futures)
Hyperticks launched in August 2025 with four futures models and a subscription structure that works differently from most firms in the space. The rules below apply across all models unless specified — and a few of them are worth reading more carefully than usual.
Drawdown System
All four models use an end-of-day trailing drawdown — the maximum loss limit adjusts upward to your highest balance at each day's close, then locks in permanently once your drawdown reaches breakeven. From that point, the floor is static.
The numbers by model:
▪ Beginner — Daily Loss Limit varies by size ($1,000–$3,000); Max Loss Limit $2,125–$4,875. Trailing until breakeven, then locked.
▪ Pro — No daily loss limit on any account size. Max Loss Limit $2,000–$4,500. End-of-day trailing until breakeven.
▪ Instant Pro — No daily loss limit. Max Loss Limit $1,125–$5,250. End-of-day trailing until breakeven.
▪ Instant Plus — Daily Loss Limit reinstated ($625–$2,500). Max Loss Limit $1,000–$4,000. End-of-day trailing until breakeven.
One thing to understand about the subscription model: if your account resets at the next billing cycle while in a failed state, an automatic reset triggers. You can also manually reset during the eval phase using a paid Booster — available on Beginner, Pro, and Instant Plus, not available on Instant Pro.
High-Frequency & Fast Trading
The list of prohibited strategies is long and clearly written, which is worth something:
▪ HFT, gap trading, toxic trading flow, server spamming, latency arbitrage — all prohibited
▪ Hedging and all forms of arbitrage — prohibited, including hedge arbitrage (opposing positions at different firms)
▪ Opposite account trading and reverse trading — prohibited
▪ Tick scalping — specifically defined as more than 50% of trades being under 10 seconds. That's the threshold. Below 50%, you're fine. Above it, account violation.
▪ EAs: allowed only for trade or risk management purposes. Any other third-party EA use results in account violation and denial of remuneration. No exceptions.
Hyperticks also applies Circuit Breaker Limits — traders may not place trades within 2% of the CME price limit for any asset class. Violations result in account closure. Worth checking the CME price limit for your specific instrument before trading near daily extremes.
Low Liquidity & Timing
No overnight holding. No weekend holding. Both are hard account violations — not soft warnings.
News trading: all Tier 1 news events are restricted, including additional Tier 1 events for Forex and Bond assets. The blackout window is 10 minutes before and 10 minutes after each event. Open trades cannot be held through these windows on affected instruments — profits from any trade in the window are deducted from the account. Hyperticks uses Forex Factory as their news calendar source.
The inactivity rule: accounts cannot go more than 7 calendar days without a trade. Breach this and the account is flagged, though the monthly subscription remains active regardless.
Loss-Chasing & Gambling
Hyperticks prohibits what they define as trading "without applying standard market risk management rules" — specifically:
▪ Opening substantially larger position sizes compared to your other trades
▪ Opening substantially smaller or larger number of positions than your typical pattern
▪ Purposely trading during news events
▪ Reverse trading — risking the full daily loss on a single trade, typically indicating reverse trading between firms
The firm reserves the right to determine at its sole discretion whether any trade, practice, or strategy constitutes a forbidden trading practice — even if no specific rule was technically broken. That discretion clause is broad, and it's worth knowing it's there before you size up aggressively on a single setup.
Risk Management
Maximum account sizes run from $25K to $150K depending on model — Beginner and Pro start at $50K, Instant Pro and Instant Plus from $25K. Position size limits are expressed in mini contracts: Beginner allows 3–9 minis (30–90 micros) depending on account size; Pro 3–9 minis; Instant Pro 2–10 minis; Instant Plus 2–8 minis.
KYC is on-request rather than mandatory upfront — the company may require identity verification at any point, including periodic due diligence under AML/CFT obligations. Risk assessment interviews can be conducted daily, weekly, or monthly at Hyperticks' discretion. During any active review, remuneration is withheld until the assessment is completed. Participating is mandatory — failure to answer questions about your trading strategy can result in service termination.
Account management by third parties is prohibited outright. Third-party vendor involvement results in immediate account termination.
Trader Tip
The subscription model works differently from most prop firms — your account resets with each billing cycle if it's in a failed state. That means the cost of failing isn't a one-time reset fee; it's the next monthly payment triggering an automatic reset. Factor the ongoing subscription into your cost-per-attempt math before you decide which account size to start with, and cancel promptly if you don't intend to continue.
