GOAT Funded Futures is a Hong Kong-registered futures prop firm with four models, six platforms, and a Sprint structure that pays 100% on the first $10K. Payouts require winning days — not calendar days, actual winning days. There's also a social media clause. Just mentioning it upfront.

About GOAT Funded Futures

GOAT Funded Futures is a Hong Kong-registered futures prop firm with four models, six platforms, and a Sprint structure that pays 100% on the first $10K. That last part is genuinely good. The rest requires reading.
News trading is allowed during evaluation — and restricted on funded accounts, because consistency would be too easy. Winning days are performance-based, not calendar-based, which sounds like a minor distinction until you have three losing Tuesdays in a row.
The T&C includes a $100 liability cap and a social media clause that survives account termination. So if things go sideways, you have $100 in potential compensation and a legal reason to stay quiet about it. Efficient.
For futures traders who want platform variety and a genuinely interesting payout structure on Sprint — worth a look. Just read the fine print before you read it out loud anywhere public.

Pros

  • - Sprint: 100% profit split on first $10K then 90/10 — genuinely distinctive
  • - Four distinct models: EOD, Sprint, Instant, PRO
  • - Six platforms: Tradovate, NinjaTrader, Volumetrica, DeepCharts, ATAS
  • - No activation fee on any model
  • - PRO funded: no consistency requirement — trade freely once you've passed the hard part
  • - Instant model: no evaluation required

Cons

  • - Liability cap: $100 or one month's fees — if something goes wrong, that's your compensation
  • - Social media clause survives account termination — your feelings have a legal dimension here
  • - Trading rules subject to change without notice — what you read today may not apply tomorrow
  • - Winning days are not calendar days — slow months will feel slower than expected
  • - News trading restricted on all funded accounts — allowed during evaluation, not afterward
  • - Behavioral risk clause with no defined numeric threshold — GFF decides what's "substantially" different

Trader Tip

Winning days are not calendar days — your account must end in profit for a day to count. On EOD and Instant that's 7 winning days, on Sprint and PRO it's 5. The risk management clause has no defined numeric threshold — trade consistently from day one, same position sizing, same frequency. Read the social media clause before posting anything publicly about your experience. It applies even after your account closes. Verify current trading rules on the website before purchasing — they are subject to change without notice.

payout okay support lacking

finally pulled the trigger after comparing like six firms on a spreadsheet. they answered my kyc question but pointed me to a help doc that was outdated. fees crept up since i joined and the retake discount quietly got smaller. the mobile app logs me out every other day which gets old fast. platform choice is limited, they push their own one pretty hard. payouts are reliable so far but the schedule is biweekly not on demand.

Almost Good

My first prop firm so i had no idea what to expect going in. fees for resetting the challenge are steep if you fail late. everything worked but i needed to chase support for the funded login. good spreads on forex … indices are wider than i expected. the platform is reliable … i just wish they offered more than one option. execution is fine in london hours but i saw real slippage in the asian session.

Half Good Half Frustrating

Saw an ad mid scroll and ended up buying an account that night. i passed phase one then immediately fumbled phase two before pulling it back in the last week. the challenge was doable but the time pressure made me overtrade a bit. verification cleared but they asked me to re record the video once. withdrawal fees are small but they exist where other firms eat them. the firm is legit as far as i can tell … just slower on everything than advertised. middle of the road, fine for now, watching closely.

fine if you are careful

Was super skeptical going in because of all the horror stories online. spreads widen a touch on the new york session but still nothing to write home about. the rule against hedging across accounts makes sense but it isnt obvious at signup. half the rules are fine, the other half feel like they were written to trip you up. the dashboard updates balance fast but the trade history lags behind. kyc went through but it asked for a second proof of address i had to dig up. take the cheap eval if you must but do not expect a smooth ride.

read the rules first

Jumped in during a 30% off promo, figured worst case i learn something. pricing is not teh cheapest but you kind of pay for the peace of mind. the news trading rule is vague enough that i traded scared the whole funded phase. customer service is friendly but clearly works limited hours. man the funded rules are stricter than the eval which caught me off guard.

mixed feelings overall

Needed a firm that allowed my EA so this is where i ended up. platform execution is solid but the economic calendar built in is barely usable. the consistency rule is fair on paper but it caps how aggressive you can be. the profit target felt fair but the minimum trading days dragged it out. the ui looks like it was designed in 2014 but functionally everything works. if you cannot handle a daily loss limit this place will eat you alive.

cheap eval costly mistakes

started with a two step challenge after comparing a few options. the eval target was reasonable … the max daily loss is where it gets tight. the profit split is decent but only after you survive a few payout cycles. support eventually answered but it took three follow ups to get a real human. support solved my issue in the end but the first two answers were copy paste. i would try one more account before i tell anyone yes or no.

chargeback filed

So i finally caved and bought a challenge here after months of lurking. they advertise fast payouts but the fine print says 14 business days and they use all of them. the reset fee climbed twenty bucks since the last time i bought a challenge. commissions quietly doubled between my first and second account. i passed the challenge and then waited eleven days for credentials that never came. the scaling plan promised double capital at 10 percent but they just ignored my request. two accounts, two breaches on rules i still do not fully understand, done.

not worth the stress

Switched over when my old firm raised their fees. the scaling plan is bait, nobody i know has actually been scaled. every time price gaps it gaps straight through my stop loss and never the other way. the mt5 server disconnects every london open like clockwork. they keep shifting the profit target up each time i get close. they recalculated my equity peak to a number i never actually hit. my honest advice is to treat their ads like fiction.

Take The Good With The Bad

A youtuber i actually trust reviewed them so i pulled the trigger. the consistency requirement kept me disciplined but also kept me small. i got funded on the second try … the firm was fair about the reset at least. email notifications can lag a bit which is mildly annoying but not a dealbreaker. kyc was painless for me but i hear it varies a lot by country. verification was smooth but they held the first withdrawal for a manual review. jury is still out … the payout helped their case but barely.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between EOD, Sprint, Instant and PRO?
EOD uses end-of-day drawdown with 80% split up to 90%, payouts every 7 winning days. Sprint uses trailing intraday drawdown with 100% split on the first $10K then 90/10, payouts every 5 winning days. Instant skips evaluation with trailing intraday drawdown and 20% consistency rule, payouts every 7 winning days. PRO uses EOD drawdown with 90/10 split, 50% consistency during evaluation but none on funded, payouts every 5 winning days.
What are winning days?
Winning days are days where your account ends in profit — not calendar days, not trading days. EOD and Instant require 7 winning days before payout eligibility. Sprint and PRO require 5. On a slow month with multiple losing sessions, the threshold can take significantly longer than the number suggests.
Is news trading allowed?
News trading is allowed during evaluation across all models. On funded accounts, news trading is available with restrictions. Check the current funded news trading window rules on the website before your first funded news trade — rules are subject to change without notice.
What does the Sprint 100% profit split mean?
Sprint pays 100% of profits on the first $10,000 withdrawn per account. After $10K, the split reverts to 90/10. This applies per account, not cumulative across multiple accounts.
What is the social media clause?
GOAT Funded Futures prohibits spreading negative or defamatory content about the firm on social media and public platforms. The clause survives account termination — it applies even after your account is closed. Breach may trigger account termination and legal action.
What platforms are available?
GOAT Funded Futures supports six platforms across two data feeds: DxFeed powers Volumetrica, DeepMap, DeepCharts, and ATAS. CGQ Data Feed supports Tradovate and NinjaTrader.
