E8 Markets
E8 Markets has been around since 2021 and somehow managed to avoid any major scandals, viral payout complaints, or regulatory visits. In this industry, that's either a sign of a well-run operation or a sign that nobody famous enough has tried to withdraw yet. Pass rate suggests the former.

Who Is This Firm For?
About E8 Markets
E8 Markets stands out through its highly customizable trading conditions, allowing traders to adjust profit targets, drawdown levels, and account rules based on their strategy. It offers profit splits of up to 100% and supports multiple asset classes including forex, indices, commodities, crypto, and futures.
The firm supports platforms such as MT5, cTrader, Match-Trader, and TradeLocker, making it accessible to both manual and algorithmic traders. It allows most trading styles including EAs, copy trading (within own accounts), and news trading—with some restrictions in funded stages.
E8 Markets enforces a Best Day rule (35–40%), limiting how much profit can come from a single day before requesting payouts.
Payouts are flexible (daily, weekly, or on-demand depending on account type) and typically processed within a few days, with many users reporting reliable withdrawals.
Overall, E8 Markets is a flexible and trader-friendly prop firm, best suited for traders who want customization and fast payouts while maintaining consistent risk management.

Neither a win nor a loss
Three months in and the jury is still out. Spread widening during news is within reason but not as tight as advertised. I will stay for now but keep an eye on alternatives.— Verified Trader (siddharth f.) See all reviews
Check which E8 model you're on before you trade news or hold overnight — E8 One and E8 Signature have different rules on both. The Best Day cap (35-40%) is the most commonly misunderstood rule — keep your best day under the threshold before requesting a payout.

E8 Markets – Trading Conditions
E8 Markets gives off a slightly more “technical” vibe from the start.
It’s less storytelling and more about:
limits, thresholds, caps, and making sure you don’t treat the account like a stress test for their servers.
Nothing overly dramatic.
Max Position Size
- 50 lots per order (FX & indices)
- 20 lots per order (XAUUSD)
Think of this as a speed limiter. You can go fast… just not that fast.
Trade Duration Rule
- You cannot have more than 50% of trades under 1 minute.
So quick trades are fine.
Building your entire strategy around blinking in and out of positions… not really.
Server Request Limitations
- Max 100 open orders at once
- Max 2000 order modifications per day (TP/SL included)
- Max 2000 positions per day
This is where it starts to feel less like trading rules
and more like: “please don’t turn this into a high-frequency experiment.”
Risk Management
- Risking your entire daily drawdown on one trade is not allowed
- Violations may result in:
- Account termination
- Fee refund (wow) (from the breached account)
They’re basically saying:
“If your plan is ‘this one trade decides everything’… reconsider.”
Risk Exposure Limitation
- E8 may limit your strategy to 1% risk per trade idea or time horizon
- Applies if they detect prohibited practices
This is the “we’ll step in if things look off” rule.
Not always visible upfront…
but very present when needed.
Copy Trading
- Not allowed between evaluation accounts
- Allowed:
- Between your own personal accounts
- Between funded and evaluation accounts
Each evaluation must stand on its own.
No shortcuts, no parallel attempts running the same playbook.
EAs (Expert Advisors)
- Allowed
- But:
- Multiple users running the same EA/strategy may lead to account termination.
So yes, you can use automation.
Just don’t use the same “secret EA” as half the internet.
Hedging
- Hedging across accounts is strictly prohibited.
- Applies even if all accounts belong to you.
No internal balancing tricks across accounts.
Each one is expected to live (or die) on its own.
News Trading
- Allowed:
- Evaluation stages
- E8 Signature Funded
- Restricted:
- E8 One Funded → No trading 5 minutes before/after news
Different rules depending on account type.
Because consistency is great… but flexibility sells better.
Signature Program Rules
- No overnight or weekend holding allowed
Profit & Withdrawal Logic
- If profits exceed dynamic drawdown value:
- You can withdraw all profits
- BUT:
- If you withdraw everything → account closes
It’s like being told:
“You can take everything… just understand that’s the end of the story.”
Inactivity Rule
- After 60 days of inactivity:
- Account is disabled
- No refund
You get more time than most firms.
Still not infinite.
Final Take
E8 Markets feels more like a controlled environment than a flexible playground.
The rules focus heavily on:
- Limiting extremes
- Preventing aggressive behavior
- Keeping execution within “normal” boundaries
Nothing feels particularly hidden.
But several rules give them room to step in if your strategy starts looking… unconventional.
If your style is:
- Structured
- Moderate in speed
- Controlled in risk
You’ll likely fit in well.
If it leans toward:
- High-frequency execution
- Aggressive scaling
- Or pushing technical limits
You might start feeling like the system is designed to slow you down… on purpose.

better than my last firm
Wanted lower targets and a calmer ruleset and this fit the bill. they cap the max lot size which annoyed me at first but it protects you. i like that they show your stats in real time instead of a delayed dashboard. pricing is not the cheapest but you kind of pay for the peace of mind. their reset option after a breach is cheaper than buying a whole new eval. not flawless but the good outweighs the annoying by a wide margin.
worth the eval fee
My buddy kept hyping these guys up so i gave them a shot. i had a losing month and they did not nuke my account, just the usual rules applied. the payout actually hit my account in like two days which i did not expect. email notifications can lag a bit which is mildly annoying but not a dealbreaker. i moved up an account tier and the upgrade process took all of five minutes. no hidden gotchas on the payout page … what they say is what you actually get.
quietly impressed
A youtuber i actually trust reviewed them so i pulled the trigger. i tested the live account against the demo with the same setups and it matched. i like that the daily loss limit resets at a sane hour for my timezone. they paused my consistency tracker when i asked for a couple weeks off, super flexible. i appreciated that they email you before a rule change instead of springing it. the consistency rule is generous compared to the firms that cap you hard. not the cheapest, not the flashiest, just reliable, and that is enough.
platform is rock solid
Someone in my discord swore these guys pay fast so here we are. partial closes and trailing stops both worked exactly like they should. the trailing drawdown is reasonable if you size your positions like an adult. the demo and funded feeds matched closely enough that i trusted my backtests. the challenge rules are strict but at least they are written in plain english for once. the verification email came instantly instead of the usual 24 hour wait. four stars, the missing one is just me being picky about the ui.
good for swing traders
Switched over when my old firm changed their drawdown rules overnight. i got a small payout bonus for hitting a milestone which was unexpected. i traded indices mostly and the spreads on those were perfectly fine. payouts are biweekly on funded accounts which is way better than the monthly firms. no surprise inactivity fees which i half expected to get hit with. i held positions over the weekend a bunch of times and never got penalised.
passed eventually lol
Not gonna lie i went in expecting teh worst. man their mobile app is basic but it does let me check my account on the go. minimum trading days felt forced at first but i get it now, it protects both sides. the profit target on phase one is ambitious but not insane. they honoured a payout even though i fat fingered a lot size, very fair. good enough that i stopped shopping around for alternatives.
solid all rounder
They popped up on a youtube ad and against my better judgement i clicked. i passed phase one then immediately fumbled phase two before pulling it back in the last week. i compared them against three others and they had the best balance of price and rules. their content creators seem to actually trade the product instead of just reading scripts. i will renew when this account runs its course, simple as that.
decent for the price
Long time retail trader, first time messing with a prop firm. i had a margin scare during cpi and the platform held up without freezing. i scaled twice and each bump was a real size jump not some token gesture. kyc was painless, uploaded my id and got verified the same afternoon. i appreciated that they email you before a rule change instead of springing it. all in all i would point a friend their way without much hesitation.
pleasantly surprised tbh
Needed a firm that allowed my EA and these guys actually do. minimum trading days felt forced at first but i get it now, it protects both sides. their mobile app is basic but it does let me check my account on the go. there is a discord and staff actually show up in it occasionally. they cap the max lot size which annoyed me at first but it protects you. a safe pick if you are tired of gambling on sketchy firms.
rules are strict but fair
My prop firm group chat would not shut up about them so i caved. the scaling plan is actually motivating instead of being some impossible carrot on a stick. fees are reasonable for what you get and the retake discount softens the blow. I don't see the point of some of the rules, man. i never had to chase support … they actually closed my ticket the same day. earned a cautious thumbs up from a guy who trusts no one.
