Finotive Funding
Finotive Funding looks attractive on the surface — competitive pricing, multiple challenge models, profit splits that sound generous. Then you read the community feedback. Traders report payouts reduced to 10% of what was owed after passing every requirement. Accounts closed for reasons that don't appear in the rulebook they read before buying.

Who Is This Firm For?
About Finotive Funding
Hidden rules buried in the T&Cs get used against profitable accounts. Slippage complaints suggest execution issues that compound the problem further. When traders leave negative reviews, Finotive responds with lengthy corporate replies that acknowledge frustration without addressing a single specific complaint — which is its own kind of answer.
A 3.8% pass rate and a Hidden Rules score of 7.1 put Finotive at the bottom of our rankings. The pricing looks attractive going in. The exit tends to look considerably less so.

Kept my fee, kept their silence
Wanted a serious firm for my funded trading and this was not it. My payout was approved but never actually arrived in my bank account. If you read their terms carefully before signing up you may see why I feel this way.— Verified Trader (deepak c.) See all reviews
Notional volume can breach limits even when your actual risk is within bounds — it measures total exposure regardless of where your stop loss is placed. Every trade needs visible SL/TP interaction or it gets flagged. Avoid consistent night session trading if it generates more than 20% of your profits. Research recent community feedback carefully before committing — the gap between published rules and reported payout experience is significant.

Finotive Funding – Trading Conditions
Finotive Funding comes with one of those rule sets that looks normal…
until you realize it doesn’t just regulate what you trade.
It regulates:
- - how you trade
- - how often
- - how fast
- - how consistent you are
- - and occasionally… how you think
At some point, it starts to feel less like a trading account
and more like a behavioral experiment with a profit target attached.
Notional Volume (The Rule You Didn’t Know You Needed to Worry About)
- - Measures total exposure, not actual risk
- - Independent of stop-loss placement
- - Breaches can lead to:
- - Warnings
- - Soft breaches
- - Hard breaches
- - Account closure
- - Payout reductions
It’s like driving safely, but getting fined because your car looked fast.
Drawdown System (Instant Funding)
- - 1.0% → soft warning
- - 1.5% → strike
- - 5 strikes → breach
So instead of one clear limit, you get a system that slowly builds up.
Think of it like:
You’re not disqualified for one mistake…
You’re disqualified for being consistently human.
High-Frequency & Fast Trading Rules
Not allowed:
- - HFT
- - Arbitrage
- - Latency abuse
- - Tick scalping
- - Micro-duration trading
A breach occurs if:
- - Over 50% of trades < 2 minutes, or
- - Over 30% of profits come from trades < 2 minutes
So fast trading is fine.
Just not too effective fast trading.
Low Liquidity & Timing Rules
- - Trading between 22:00 – 02:00 UTC is monitored
- - If:
- - You trade consistently in that window
- - AND make over 20% of profit there
→ It becomes a problem
So yes, you can trade at night.
Just don’t do too well while everyone else is asleep.
Loss-Chasing & “Gambling” Behavior
Not allowed:
- - Re-entering trades after losses
- - One-directional aggressive trading
- - Trying to recover losses quickly
Which translates to:
“Please don’t behave like… most traders behave after a loss.”
Fair rule.
Also surprisingly difficult for a large percentage of humans.
Risk Management Rules
- - If 50%+ of trades don’t interact with SL/TP → flagged
- “Abnormal stop-loss usage” is prohibited
Example:
- - Ultra-tight stops used to justify large positions
So:
You must use stop-losses.
But also… use them correctly.
But also… in a way that looks realistic.
There’s a subtle art to not looking suspicious.
Strategy Restrictions
- - Martingale / Grid → prohibited
- - Strategy switching after passing → not allowed
So if you:
- - Pass carefully
- - Then decide to “scale up aggressively”
That character development is not appreciated.
Trade Structuring Rules
- - Hedging across accounts → prohibited
- - High-frequency stacking → restricted
Opening multiple positions on correlated assets is:
“Technically smart…
but also technically not allowed.”
News Trading (The Creative Version)
- - News straddling → prohibited
Opening buy + sell around news is considered:
- - “unnatural trading behavior”
Which is a polite way of saying:
“We’ve seen this trick before.”
Weekend Holding
- - Evaluation → Allowed
- - Instant → Not allowed unless you pay for an add-on
So holding trades over the weekend is possible…
Only if you pay for it.
Inactivity Rule
- - 30 days inactivity → account closed
- - No refund
Even doing nothing has consequences.
Efficiency is impressive, wouldn't you say?
The Part Traders Usually Discover Later
A noticeable portion of feedback around Finotive revolves around:
- - Payout reductions (Most if the time down to 10%)
- - Accounts flagged after profitable trading
- - Rule interpretations applied post-performance
And yes:
- - Around 27%+ of their Trustpilot reviews are 1-star, detecting fake reviews. Trustpilot decided to Flag their company profile, stating "Warning". more info -> https://www.trustpilot.com/review/finotivefunding.com
- - Many mention similar patterns
To be clear:
The rules are there.
The experience comes from how they’re applied.
Final Take
Finotive Funding doesn’t just define rules.
It defines behavior.
The system is built to detect:
- - speed
- - timing
- - consistency
- - risk patterns
And intervene when things start looking “unusual.”
If your style is:
- - slow
- - structured
- - predictable
You might be fine.
If it involves:
- - adaptation
- - speed
- - recovering from losses
- - or thinking creatively
There’s a high chance you’ll eventually meet a rule
you didn’t realize mattered.

Improved issuance of payouts
I have received 4 payouts from two $100k instant lite accounts. My first payouts were reduced to 10% after 48hours back in April when they, in my own opinion, were reducing high payouts for nonsensical reasons.
However, since they reviewed their T&C's and incorporated these conditions into their dash board, my recent payout mid July was instantly sent to Finotive pay which was quite a surprise.
The payout was just shy of $1,000 hence the 3star review. I would like to see bigger payouts swiftly issued before my perception of this firm change to a positive one.
support never answers
been curious about these guys since they launched. execution is fine until you are profitable, then orders start slipping like crazy. they denied my payout over a rule i cannot even find in their terms. spreads on gold widened to fifty pips right as my stop sat there. got my funded account suspended for news trading on a strategy they approved last month. they're holding my withdrawal hostage until i sign a new agreement i never agreed to.
mixed but mostly good
wanted to test teh waters with a smaller account first. the trading conditions are okay … just dont expect raw spreads at this price. i got funded on the second try, the firm was fair about the reset at least. bro payout came in crypto fine but the fiat option had extra steps. i got funded fine but the scaling requirements are steeper than they look.
reasonable with caveats
A coworker who trades pointed me toward them. the news trading rule is vague enough that i traded scared the whole funded phase. half the rules are fine, the other half feel like they were written to trip you up. drawdown tracking in the dashboard is accurate but updates with a delay. somewhere between fine and frustrating depending on the week. can you guys get in contact with this firm if I provide an acc number? their customer support hasn't replied in 3 days.
they moved the goalposts
My prop firm group chat would not shut up about them so i caved. withdrew once successfully, the second time they audited my whole trade history for a month. customer service hours are basically never when you actually need them. my emails to compliance bounce back like the inbox doesn't exist. would not trust them with a single dollar more, hard pass.
Worst Firm I've Used
took the plunge after lurking their subreddit for a couple weeks. they advertise fast payouts but the fine print says 14 business days and they use all of them. banned my account and kept my profit split with no explanation at all. the scaling plan promised double capital at 10 percent but they just ignored my request. my ea was approved by support in writing and then flagged as prohibited a month later. they exist to take eval fees and that is the whole game.
two stars short of great
Came across this firm in a discord i'm in and gave it a shot. support knows their stuff but you wait in a queue to reach them. kyc was painless for me but i hear it varies a lot by country. payout processing is fine but you have to hit a minimum balance first. i asked support the same question twice and got two different answers. payouts landed eventually though the processing took longer than the 24 hours they promise. hard to fully trust yet, but they have not given me a real reason to leave.
they don't want to pay
been with this firm for a few months now so i figure i owe an honest review. suport's only answer is read teh faq even when the faq says nothing about it. kyc has been stuck on document review for over a month with zero updates. the reset fee climbed twenty bucks since the last time i bought a challenge. tbh price feed spiked a hundred pips for one second and blew my account. zero trust left, closing my account the second support actually responds.
stuck in verification limbo
Started with their two step eval because teh one step felt too good to be true. their live chat is a bot that loops you back to the faq no matter what you type. the refund they promised on funding never showed up on any statement. they accused me of copy trading because two of my trades looked similar. approval email said funded then a second email took it back hours later. man they pay just often enough to keep the affiliate machine running, that is my theory.
good firm bad app
So i finally caved and bought a challenge here after months of lurking. suport speaks english well but teh timezone gap slows everything down. the ui looks like it was designed in 2014 but functionally everything works. i got my refund on the eval fee but only after i specifically asked for it. man good spreads on forex, indices are wider than i expected. fees crept up since i joined and the retake discount quietly got smaller. payouts come but slowly, so patience is part of the deal here.
