Trader Tip

The 40% news profit split on funded accounts is the most commonly missed rule — it applies to any trade within 5 minutes of a high-impact event, even if you didn't intend to trade the news. Set your stop loss within 3 minutes of every trade or 100% risk is assumed automatically. If you pass with an EA, you must continue with that EA on the funded account — switching to manual is a violation.

Trading Conditions

Drawdown System

  • Margin usage: must stay between 20-30%, max cumulative 70%
  • Instant accounts: 6% trailing max drawdown resets to initial balance once 6%+ profit reached
  • Withdrawing all profits after reset: account closure
  • No stop loss within 3 minutes of opening: 100% risk assumed automatically
  • 60-day inactivity: challenge account expires

High-Frequency & Fast Trading

  • Not Allowed:
  • Grid trading
  • One-sided betting
  • Account rolling — buying multiple evaluations to sacrifice some while passing others
  • Identical trades across accounts
  • EA strategies exceeding $300K allocation limit
  • Switching between EA and manual trading between challenge and funded account

Low Liquidity & Timing

  • Evaluation stage: news trading fully allowed, no restrictions
  • Funded and instant accounts: trades within 5 minutes before/after high-impact news — 40% profit split applies
  • No specific session time restrictions beyond news split rule
  • 60-day window required — at least one trade every 60 calendar days

Loss-Chasing & Gambling

  • Not Allowed:
  • One-sided betting
  • Grid trading
  • Account rolling
  • Significantly increasing margin or risk usage after passing challenge
  • First no-SL violation: 50% profit reduction
  • Second no-SL violation: 100% profit reduction
  • Third violation: placement into Disciplined Trader Program

Risk Management

  • Max risk per trade: 3% based on stop loss placement (funded accounts)
  • Margin usage: 20-30% standard, 70% absolute maximum cumulative
  • Strategy consistency: same method, same asset classes, same symbol categories across challenge and funded
  • EA: add-on only, MT4/MT5, customized to trading style, $300K max per strategy
  • Copy trading between challenge and instant accounts: not allowed
  • Account rolling violations: restrictions on new purchases or lifetime allocation limits

fast payouts, dated ui

Picked this one up after a buddy kept raving about it. i renewed my challenge this month which is basically my whole review right there. their economic calendar integration is a small thing but i use it daily. the challenge timer is generous, i never felt rushed into bad trades. slippage outside of high impact news is basically a non issue for me.

rules are fair tbh

Been demoing strategies for a while and finally went live with these. the leverage is sensible, enough to work with but not enough to wreck yourself by accident. the profit target on phase one is ambitious but not insane. the drawdown is calculated on balance not equity which honestly saved me a few times. would tell a friend to join without hesitation.

real firm, real money

A coworker who trades pointed me toward them. reset on a blown challenge was free which saved me from buying a whole new account. i appreciated that they email you before a rule change instead of springing it. i was funded the same day i passed … no waiting around for a manual review for a week. their server uptime during the last nfp was flawless from where i sat. i renewed my challenge this month which is basically my whole review right there. support actually answered and the money actually arrived … what a concept.

fair enough

Bought in after they ran a promo i couldn't ignore. support tickets get answered … just dont expect it the same day. the dashboard looks clean but half the stats i actually want arent on it. the rules are reasonable, the problem is finding them all in one place. my account got funded but the credentials email took a day to arrive. i am not leaving yet but i am also not buying a second account.

took my money and gave it back with interest

Wanted lower targets and a calmer ruleset so this one caught my eye. their economic calendar integration is a small thing but i use it daily. they let me trade through the cpi release without flagging my account which was a relief. the dashboard shows my drawdown buffer in real time so i never have to guess how much room is left. there is a discord and staff actually show up in it occasionally. can you guys get in contact with this firm if I provide an acc number? their customer support hasn't replied in 3 days. passed, paid, repeat, that is the cycle and it has held up.

not bad at all

Got tired of demo trading and figured a challenge would force me to focus. the rules pdf is long but at least nothing is buried in tiny print. the withdrawal request i submitted on a tuesday was sitting in my bank by thursday morning. first withdrawal i was sweating bullets but it came through clean and on time. can you guys get in contact with this firm if I provide an acc number? their customer support hasn't replied in 7 days. the kind of firm you forget about because nothing goes wrong, which is the point.

Survived The Challenge

i scalp news sometimes so i specifically checked their rules first this time. partial closes and trailing stops both worked exactly like they should. dude execution during london open has been clean even when spreads widen everywhere else. teh eval took me like 27 trading days total … not fast not slow, just fair. rules are clear, support is human, payments are real … what else do you want.

support actually replies

My first funded account ever was with these guys so i am a bit biased. monthly fee on the challenge is honestly cheap compared to what others charge for the same size. kyc was painless … uploaded my id and got verified the same afternoon. the payout actually hit my account in like two days which i did not expect. overnight swaps are charged but they are upfront about the numbers. platform was stable the whole time, no random disconnects during news. i will renew when this account runs its course, simple as that.

Rules Are Strict But Fair

Decided to try funded trading after years of trading my own cash. i traded indices mostly and the spreads on those were perfectly fine. the trailing drawdown is reasonable if you size your positions like an adult. they refunded my eval fee when i got funded which was a nice surprise. leverage is reasonable, not the reckless stuff that blows beginners up. sticking around until they give me a reason not to.

passed eventually lol

Tried them out after a refund nightmare with a competitor. fees are reasonable for what you get and the retake discount softens the blow. i passed phase two and the payout eligibility kicked in exactly when they said it would. the platform let me set custom alerts which actually helped me stick to my risk plan. they honoured a payout even though i fat fingered a lot size, very fair. spreads are fine, nothing crazy, nothing terrible, it is a prop firm not a charity. can you guys get in contact with this firm if I provide an acc number? their customer support hasn't replied in a week. if you can trade within the lines this place treats you right.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do many traders choose FundedNext over other prop firms?
FundedNext attracts traders with high profit splits, scaling plans, and the ability to earn profit during the evaluation phase. These features make it appealing compared to more traditional prop firm models.
Is the profit during the challenge phase actually withdrawable?
Yes, FundedNext offers profit sharing even during the evaluation stage on certain programs. However, traders must still meet all rules and conditions, and payouts are subject to verification before being approved.
What should traders be careful about when using FundedNext?
Traders should pay close attention to consistency rules, risk management, and trading behavior. While the offer looks attractive, violations can still lead to account breaches or payout issues.
How does FundedNext compare to FTMO or E8 Markets?
FundedNext offers more aggressive incentives such as higher profit splits and challenge-phase earnings. However, FTMO and E8 are generally seen as more stable and proven over time, making FundedNext a more opportunity-driven choice.
Is FundedNext suitable for long-term trading?
It can be, but it depends on the trader’s ability to maintain consistency and adapt to the rules. While many users report positive experiences, long-term sustainability depends on disciplined execution rather than short-term gains.
Always do your own research. Never risk more than you can afford to lose. Last updated:
