GOAT Funded Futures
GOAT Funded Futures is a Hong Kong-registered futures prop firm with four models, six platforms, and a Sprint structure that pays 100% on the first $10K. Payouts require winning days — not calendar days, actual winning days. There's also a social media clause. Just mentioning it upfront.

Who Is This Firm For?
About GOAT Funded Futures
News trading is allowed during evaluation — and restricted on funded accounts, because consistency would be too easy. Winning days are performance-based, not calendar-based, which sounds like a minor distinction until you have three losing Tuesdays in a row.
The T&C includes a $100 liability cap and a social media clause that survives account termination. So if things go sideways, you have $100 in potential compensation and a legal reason to stay quiet about it. Efficient.
For futures traders who want platform variety and a genuinely interesting payout structure on Sprint — worth a look. Just read the fine print before you read it out loud anywhere public.

Cons
- - Liability cap: $100 or one month's fees — if something goes wrong, that's your compensation

- - Winning days are not calendar days — slow months will feel slower than expected
- - News trading restricted on all funded accounts — allowed during evaluation, not afterward
- - Behavioral risk clause with no defined numeric threshold — GFF decides what's "substantially" different
take the good with the bad

Winning days are not calendar days — your account must end in profit for a day to count. On EOD and Instant that's 7 winning days, on Sprint and PRO it's 5. The risk management clause has no defined numeric threshold — trade consistently from day one, same position sizing, same frequency. Read the social media clause before posting anything publicly about your experience. It applies even after your account closes. Verify current trading rules on the website before purchasing — they are subject to change without notice.

GOAT Funded Futures — Trading Conditions
GOAT Funded Futures is the futures product from GOAT Funded Trader — same company registered in Hong Kong, different market. Four models, six platforms, and a Sprint structure that pays 100% on the first $10K. The rules are clearly structured. The community feedback on the parent firm is less reassuring. Both things are true simultaneously.
Forbidden Trading Practices
▪ HFT and latency arbitrage
▪ Spoofing and market manipulation
▪ Strategy switching between evaluation and funded stage
▪ Account sharing — accounts are personal, one account per user
▪ Third-party account management — account cannot be sold, transferred, or shared
▪ Multiple accounts — GFF reserves right to terminate all accounts if multiple accounts detected
▪ Gambling-type behavior — GFF reserves right to terminate at sole discretion
▪ Strategies inconsistent with actual futures market practices
▪ Position sizing substantially larger or smaller compared to your other trades — flagged as non-standard risk management
▪ Social media clause: spreading negative or defamatory content about GOAT — may trigger account termination and legal action
The social media clause and the one-account rule both survive account termination. If your account is closed and you attempt to open a new one under any name — that's also a violation. The liability cap if GFF causes you harm: $100 or one month's fees, whichever is greater. Worth knowing.
News Trading
▪ All evaluation accounts across all models: news trading allowed
▪ All funded accounts: news trading with restrictions
▪ Specific funded restriction window: check current FAQs before trading around scheduled events
Evaluation and funded rules differ. The challenge permits news trading freely. The funded stage does not. Check the current window rules on the website before your first funded news trade — the T&C explicitly states rules are subject to change without notice.
Risk Management Standards
▪ Good market standard risk management rules must be applied at all times
▪ Substantially larger position sizes compared to your other trades: flagged
▪ Substantially smaller or larger number of positions compared to other trades: flagged
▪ Gambling-type behavior: account termination at GFF's sole discretion
▪ GFF reserves the right to determine what constitutes prohibited conduct — at its own discretion
The risk management clause is behavioral, not numeric. There is no defined threshold for what constitutes "substantially" different position sizing. GFF makes that determination. Trade consistently from day one.
Consistency Rules
▪ EOD funded: 30% — no single day can represent more than 30% of total profit
▪ Sprint evaluation: no consistency requirement | Sprint funded: 30%
▪ Instant: 20% throughout — one of the tighter consistency rules in futures prop
▪ PRO evaluation: 50% | PRO funded: no consistency requirement
The PRO model front-loads the strictest consistency rule during evaluation — 50% means no single day can represent more than half your total profit. Once funded, that restriction disappears entirely.
Winning Days Requirement
▪ EOD and Instant: 7 winning days required before payout eligibility
▪ Sprint and PRO: 5 winning days required
▪ Winning days = days where the account ends in profit — not calendar days, not trading days
On a slow week with two losing sessions, you're not making progress toward the threshold. Plan your trading frequency accordingly.

Final Take
GOAT Funded Futures offers a genuinely varied lineup — four models with different drawdown types, consistency requirements, and payout structures, backed by six platform options across two data feeds. The Sprint model's 100% split on the first $10K is one of the more distinctive offers in the futures prop space.
The parent firm's Trustpilot profile carries a 31% one-star rate and a Warning for fake reviews. The T&C liability cap of $100 and the broad discretionary enforcement language are the two things worth reading carefully before purchasing. Trading rules are subject to change without notice — verify current parameters on the website before you buy.
The social media clause applies to the futures product as part of the same parent company. It survives account termination. Research current community experiences independently before committing.

credentials never arrived
got into prop trading last year and have been firm hopping since. my account got flagged for hedging when i never opened two trades on the same pair. their terms link goes to a 404 whenever i try to dispute something. they denied the payout because my lot sizes were too consistent, i can't win either way. they accused me of copy trading because two of my trades looked similar. told me my ip looked suspicious and froze everything pending verification. i want my eval fee back and we both know that is not happening.
support is a ghost town
Needed a firm that allowed my EA so this is where i ended up. the reset fee climbed twenty bucks since the last time i bought a challenge. banned my account and kept my profit split with no explanation at all. slippage on every single news candle, always in the direction that hurts you. the platform froze during cpi and my ticket about it was closed without a reply. the daily loss limit triggered on a candle wick that never touched my orders. run, and tell your trading group to run too.
one more payout decides it
signed up on a whim after a podcast mention. my first payout was smooth, the second one needed a support ticket to shake loose. challenge rules were clear but the faq contradicted them in one spot. they cap the max lot size which annoyed me at first but it protects you. support was polite enough but every reply came a full day apart. the potential is there, the execution is about sixty percent of the way.
breached on a technicality
my prop firm group chat would not shut up about them so i caved. they denied my payout over a rule i cannot even find in their terms. my account manager stopped responding teh day i requested my money. commissions quietly doubled between my first and second account. they failed me for a consistency breach i was never told about until payout day. man they failed me on a phantom violation right before my first payout.
they moved the goalposts
Picked them mostly because the eval price was easy to swallow. two months funded and the promised scaling still hasn't kicked in. passed phase two weeks ago and still no live credentials in my inbox. they're holding my withdrawal hostage until i sign a new agreement i never agreed to. every payout request triggers a brand new round of identity checks. my dashboard shows a different balance every time i refresh it.
rules change mid game
long time retail trader, first time messing with a prop firm. the trailing drawdown ate my profit while i was flat and out of the market. phone support does not exist and email answers take a week if they come at all. the live spreads are nothing like the tight ones they advertised. my stop got skipped entirely during the gap and they call it normal volatility. do not let the discount code do your thinking for you, i did and regret it.
decent for the price
Went with the smallest account size to keep the risk low while i learned. payout processing is fine but you have to hit a minimum balance first. withdrawals work but the minimum payout threshold is higher than most firms. the platform disconnected on me twice during news, nothing lost but not a great feeling. the eval was fair but the funded account rules are noticeably tighter, read both. spreads on majors are reasonable, gold is where they widen out on you. lukewarm on it, it does the job but never makes you feel good about it.
usable with caveats
Tried a bunch of firms this year so i know what to look for by now. the daily loss limit reset time is in a timezone that isnt mine which trips me up. spreads are okay and stable, nothing exciting but nothing alarming either. i got funded fine but the scaling requirements are steeper than they look. on the fence, the next payout decides whether i stay or go.
Two Accounts Two Breaches
Honestly just wanted to see if any of these prop firms are legit at all. they removed my profits for "gap trading" on a position i opened mid session. my account got flagged for "toxic trading" with zero explanation of what that means. withdrew once successfully, the second time they audited my whole trade history for a month. my ea was approved by support in writing and then flagged as prohibited a month later. they move the goalposts the second you start winning.
scammy payout process
first prop firm i actually stuck with long enough to get funded. spread spikes always seem to hit a few seconds before major news drops. the rule about overnight positions appeared after i already held one. i hit the profit target and they invented a consistency violation after the fact. they voided three of my best trades calling them latency arbitrage. approval email said funded then a second email took it back hours later. paid for the eval, got nothing but excuses in return.
