Bright Funded
Bright Funded launched in 2023 and has managed to stay out of the headlines for all the right reasons. Pass rate is decent, hidden rules score is moderate, and the Trustpilot reviews don't read like they were written by the marketing team. Progress.

Three stars feels right
I neither love nor hate them, which is unusual for me to say. My experience varied depending on which support agent I reached. Leaving without strong feelings in either direction.— Verified Trader (jack smith) See all reviews
The 5-minute news window on funded accounts catches SL and TP executions too — not just manual trades. If a major news event hits while you have open positions, your stop or take profit triggering in that window will have profits removed. The 48-hour exception is real but narrow — plan accordingly. During evaluation, none of this applies.

Quick Verdict
Bright Funded sits in that middle ground:
If you trade with a plan, respect your risk, and don't wake up every morning looking for a loophole — Bright Funded will probably leave you alone.
If your strategy relies on speed, news spikes, or occasionally winging it and hoping for the best — you'll eventually find the rule that was written specifically for you. The list is long enough that most scenarios are already covered.

glad i gave them a shot
trading forex for years but new to the prop side of things. overnight swaps are charged but they are upfront about the numbers. they grandfathered my old account rules when they updated their terms which felt fair. the demo and funded feeds matched closely enough that i trusted my backtests. the mobile app stays synced with desktop so i can check positions on the go without lag. no hidden gotchas on the payout page, what they say is what you actually get. no drama, no excuses, just a balance that hit my account on time.
Passed Second Attempt
My first funded account ever was with these guys so i am a bit biased. they let me run my algo as long as it is not some latency arbitrage exploit. their mobile app is basic but it does let me check my account on the go. execution during london open has been clean even when spreads widen everywhere else. i went in skeptical and walked out a believer.
one more payout decides it
Came here after getting burned somewhere else and starting over. the consistency requirement kept me disciplined but also kept me small. fees are transparent at least … even if theyre not the lowest around. the consistency rule is doable but it punishes one good day way too hard. i passed the challenge without much trouble but the consistency rule almost got me on payout day. spreads are tighter than my last firm but execution is a touch slower.
funded in two weeks
picked them mostly because the eval price was easy to swallow. the leverage is sensible, enough to work with but not enough to wreck yourself by accident. their dashboard is genuinely useful, learned stuff about my own trading just looking at it. the scaling plan is actually motivating instead of being some impossible carrot on a stick. four stars from me, knocking one off purely for the dated dashboard.
a safe pick
My first prop firm so i had no idea what to expect going in. the rules are written in plain english so i actually knew what id get banned for before i started. the scaling lets you double your account size every time you clear a payout milestone. i can run my own ea on their platform and it ran without any weird restrictions.
Support Came Through
Wanted a firm with a platform i already knew how to use. the profit split bumped up to 90 after i hit a couple targets and it felt earned. you get a real account dashboard with trade history and stats not just a balance number. trades closed at my stop exactly, no requote nonsense or sneaky slippage at the level. the payout actually hit my account in like two days which i did not expect. would i bet my rent on them? already did, and it worked out.
exactly what i hoped for
Heard about them on a youtube review and figured i'd see for myself. the profit target on phase one is ambitious but not insane. monthly fee on the challenge is honestly cheap compared to what others charge for the same size. fees are reasonable for what you get and the retake discount softens the blow. the consistency rule is generous compared to the firms that cap you hard. i compared them against three others and they had the best balance of price and rules.
better than i expected
My buddy kept hyping these guys up so i gave them a shot. the news trading rules are clearly listed so theres no nasty surprise after you pass. the rules pdf is long but at least nothing is buried in tiny print. drawdown is end of day based not intraday so a quick wick against me doesnt kill the account. the drawdown is calculated on balance not equity which honestly saved me a few times.
usable with caveats
finally pulled the trigger after comparing like six firms on a spreadsheet. payouts work but the dashboard doesnt show a clear status while you wait. the mobile app logs me out every other day which gets old fast. can you guys get in contact with this firm if I provide an acc number? their customer support hasn't replied in 7 days. the profit target felt fair but the minimum trading days dragged it out. customer service is friendly but clearly works limited hours. i stay because moving firms is a pain … not because they earned it.
rules are fair tbh
Needed a new firm after my last one shut down. they paused my consistency tracker when i asked for a couple weeks off, super flexible. i tested the live account against the demo with the same setups and it matched. payout came through with zero fees deducted, what i requested is what i received. the buffer between daily loss and max loss gives you breathing room on a bad day. the platform let me set custom alerts which actually helped me stick to my risk plan. stuck with them a year now and zero regrets.
