Bright Funded
Bright Funded launched in 2023 and has managed to stay out of the headlines for all the right reasons. Pass rate is decent, hidden rules score is moderate, and the Trustpilot reviews don't read like they were written by the marketing team. Progress.

Three stars feels right
I neither love nor hate them, which is unusual for me to say. My experience varied depending on which support agent I reached. Leaving without strong feelings in either direction.— Verified Trader (jack smith) See all reviews
The 5-minute news window on funded accounts catches SL and TP executions too — not just manual trades. If a major news event hits while you have open positions, your stop or take profit triggering in that window will have profits removed. The 48-hour exception is real but narrow — plan accordingly. During evaluation, none of this applies.

Quick Verdict
Bright Funded sits in that middle ground:
If you trade with a plan, respect your risk, and don't wake up every morning looking for a loophole — Bright Funded will probably leave you alone.
If your strategy relies on speed, news spikes, or occasionally winging it and hoping for the best — you'll eventually find the rule that was written specifically for you. The list is long enough that most scenarios are already covered.

beginner friendly enough
Picked these guys mostly because of the discount code floating around. first withdrawal i was sweating bullets but it came through clean and on time. i like that they show your stats in real time instead of a delayed dashboard. payouts are biweekly on funded accounts which is way better than the monthly firms. execution during london open is tight enough to scalp if you are into that. i like that the daily loss limit resets at a sane hour for my timezone. all in all i would point a friend their way without much hesitation.
they actually pay
Long time retail trader, first time messing with a prop firm. no surprise inactivity fees which i half expected to get hit with. their server uptime during the last nfp was flawless from where i sat. they refunded my eval fee when i got funded which was a nice surprise. i compared them against three others and they had the best balance of price and rules. would i do it again? yeah, probably with a bigger account next time.
passed eventually lol
My prop firm group chat would not shut up about them so i caved. had one weird order rejection and they tracked it to a platform bug and credited me back. i breached the daily loss limit on a tilt day, fully my fault, they did nothing wrong. the drawdown is calculated on balance not equity which honestly saved me a few times. repeat customer here so take that for what it is worth.
Survived The Challenge
ok so the evaluation is exactly as advertised which is rare these days. the trailing drawdown is reasonable if you size your positions like an adult. platform was stable the whole time, no random disconnects during news. the challenge rules are strict but at least they are written in plain english for once. can you guys get in contact with this firm if I provide an acc number? their customer support hasn't replied in 3 days. i came in skeptical and i am leaving funded, draw your own conclusions.
cheap eval real payouts
Tried a bunch of firms this year and this one is somewhere in the middle. i renewed my challenge this month which is basically my whole review right there. the demo and funded feeds matched closely enough that i trusted my backtests. they cap the max lot size which annoyed me at first but it protects you. their content creators seem to actually trade the product instead of just reading scripts.
finally a firm that pays
Been with this firm for a few months now and honestly no major complaints. the news trading rule confused me at first but the faq actually explains why it exists. i appreciated that they email you before a rule change instead of springing it. the second phase target was lower than phase one which kept me sane. no hidden gotchas on the payout page, what they say is what you actually get. a safe pick if you are tired of gambling on sketchy firms.
Took My Money And Gave It Back With Interest
Needed a firm that allowed my EA and these guys actually do. their mobile app is basic but it does let me check my account on teh go. support answered a dumb question of mine with an actual example instead of a canned reply. slippage outside of high impact news is basically a non issue for me. idk but reliable, fair, slightly dull, exactly what i wanted.
reliable little firm
Got in through an affiliate link from a trader i follow, no shame. partial closes and trailing stops both worked exactly like they should. i compared them against three others and they had the best balance of price and rules. i tested the live account against the demo with the same setups and it matched. their economic calendar integration is a small thing but i use it daily. can you guys get in contact with this firm if I provide an acc number? their customer support hasn't replied in 7 days. kyc was painless, uploaded my id and got verified the same afternoon. still funded, still profitable, still getting paid, that is the test that matters.
low key impressed
I blew my first account in two days like an absolute clown. the scaling plan is actually motivating instead of being some impossible carrot on a stick. consistency rule almost got me once because i did not read the fine print … my bad not theirs. their reset option after a breach is cheaper than buying a whole new eval. i traded indices mostly and the spreads on those were perfectly fine. getting verified for a payout needed an id and a selfie … standard stuff … painless. overall a quietly competent firm, take that as the compliment it is.
platform is rock solid
came for teh cheap eval, stayed for the surprisingly decent payouts. the challenge timer is generous, i never felt rushed into bad trades. bro spreads widen a touch on the new york session but still nothing to write home about. overnight swaps are charged but they are upfront about the numbers. thier dashboard is genuinely useful, learned stuff about my own trading just looking at it. i passed phase one then immediately fumbled phase two before pulling it back in the last week.
