About For Traders
Not overly restrictive, not overly loose.
More like a firm that tries to give you flexibility… while still keeping a close eye on how you use it.

But like always, the details start to matter once you actually trade.

Not bad, not great
Been through a challenge reset and a payout cycle with them. Their dashboard is functional but definitely showing its age. Trade here if the conditions fit your style. Otherwise keep shopping.— Verified Trader (sophie h.) See all reviews
The -2% floating loss cap applies across all open positions simultaneously — not per trade. Monitor your total floating PnL actively, not just individual trades. The 70% profit target rule means if your target is $1,000, no single trade can make more than $700 of it — plan your position sizing accordingly. Instant accounts have only 7 days before inactivity termination — if you're not ready to trade, don't activate the account yet.

For Traders – Trading Conditions
Expert Advisors (EAs)
- - Allowed only if they assist your decisions
- - Fully automated or self-trading bots → not allowed
So you can have tools.
You just can’t outsource your brain entirely.
Copy Trading
- - Allowed:
- - Between your own For Traders accounts
- - From your For Traders account (as master)
- Not allowed:
- - Copying into a For Traders account
You can lead your own system.
You just can’t plug into someone else’s.
News Trading
- - Evaluation Phase:
- - No restrictions
- - Funded Accounts:
- - Cannot open trades 5 minutes before/after news
- - Profits from trades opened in that window → removed
You can hold trades through news.
Just don’t try to time the explosion.
Instant Drawdown Protection
- - Max floating loss: -2% of starting balance
Violations:
- - 1st → Trades closed, account continues, profit split reduced to 50%
- - 2nd → Account terminated
This is basically a safety net…
that also doubles as a warning system.
Risk & Execution Rules
- - Max 40% margin usage per direction/instrument
- - No trade can exceed 70% of the profit target
Example:
If your plan is:
“One trade and I’m done”
→ This rule is specifically waiting for you.
Minimum Trading Days
- - 7 profitable days (≥0.5% each)
- - No minimum
Evaluation & Funded (Fast, Classic, Strike):
- - 3 profitable days per phase
So yes, they want consistency…
but they’re not dragging it out unnecessarily.
Trade Behavior Restrictions
Not allowed:
- - HFT / Arbitrage / Tick scalping
- - Grid / Martingale
- - Hedging
- - Overleveraging
- - One-sided betting
- - Account rolling
- - Group or signal trading
- - Fully automated bots
At this point, it’s the usual list.
Nothing surprising, just covering all the “creative shortcuts.”
Inactivity Rules
- - Instant accounts:
- - 7 days inactivity → account terminated
- - Other programs:
- - 30 days inactivity → terminated
So depending on the account, you either:
- - take a short break
or - - apparently take no break at all
Time Limit (3-Step Challenge)
- - Total: 180 days
- - 60 days per phase
Reasonable enough.
No unnecessary pressure here.
Overnight & Weekend Holding
- - Allowed
A small but important plus.
No hidden complications here.
Code of Conduct
Not allowed:
- - Harassment, threats, or toxic behavior
- - Spamming or system abuse
- - Impersonation
- - Payment disputes abuse
Final Take
For Traders sits comfortably in the middle:
- - Clear rules
- - Decent flexibility
- - Some strict areas around execution and behavior
Nothing feels overly aggressive.
Nothing feels overly relaxed either.
If your style is:
- - Structured
- - Moderately paced
- - Not dependent on extremes
You’ll likely have a smooth experience.
If it leans toward:
- - High-risk, single-trade strategies
- - Fast execution
- - Or heavy automation
You’ll start noticing where the boundaries are pretty quickly.

passed eventually lol
Been burned by a sketchy firm before so i went in cautious this time. i moved up an acount tier and teh upgrade process took all of five minutes. dude had one weird order rejection and they tracked it to a platform bug and credited me back. execution during london open is tight enough to scalp if you are into that. crypto and wire both supported … i did wire and it hit my bank in two business days. if you treat it like a business and not a casino you will be fine here.
Cautiously Recommend
Been with this firm for a few months now and honestly no major complaints. the consistency rule is generous compared to the firms that cap you hard. consistency rule almost got me once because i did not read the fine print, my bad not theirs. partial closes and trailing stops both worked exactly like they should. their economic calendar integration is a small thing but i use it daily. i came in skeptical and i am leaving funded, draw your own conclusions.
funded and paid
jumped in during a 30% off promo, figured worst case i learn something. tbh they cap teh max lot size which annoyed me at first but it protects you. i passed phase one then immediately fumbled phase two before pulling it back in the last week. thier mobile app is basic but it does let me check my account on the go. overall a quietly competent firm, take that as the compliment it is.
better than my last firm
Finally pulled the trigger after comparing like six firms on a spreadsheet. i like that the daily loss limit resets at a sane hour for my timezone. i compared them against three others and they had the best balance of price and rules. kyc was painless … uploaded my id and got verified the same afternoon. the funded payout split started at 80/20 and scaled up which felt fair.
glad i switched
My first funded account ever was with these guys so i am a bit biased. platform was stable the whole time, no random disconnects during news. first withdrawal i was sweating bullets but it came through clean and on time. spreads are fine, nothing crazy, nothing terrible, it is a prop firm not a charity. i had a margin scare during cpi and the platform held up without freezing. the profit target on phase one is ambitious but not insane. repeat customer here so take that for what it is worth.
does the job
switched over when my old firm changed their drawdown rules overnight. overnight swaps are charged but they are upfront about teh numbers. spreads widen a touch on the new york session but still nothing to write home about. i requested a payout three times and all three landed inside the promised window. bro they honoured a payout even though i fat fingered a lot size, very fair. still funded … still profitable, still getting paid, that is the test that matters.
no drama just trades
My buddy kept hyping these guys up so i gave them a shot. i renewed my challenge this month which is basically my whole review right there. i scaled twice and each bump was a real size jump not some token gesture. they honoured a payout even though i fat fingered a lot size, very fair. reliable … fair … slightly dull … exactly what i wanted.
finally a firm that pays
took the plunge after lurking their subreddit for a couple weeks. i got a small payout bonus for hitting a milestone which was unexpected. no surprise inactivity fees which i half expected to get hit with. i had a losing month and they did not nuke my account … just the usual rules applied. support speaks actual english and not copy pasted template answers. I don't see the point of some of the rules, man.
fair enough
Someone in my discord swore these guys pay fast so here we are. honestly the rules made my retail trading better too, forced discipline and all that. spreads are fine, nothing crazy … nothing terrible, it is a prop firm not a charity. fees are reasonable for what you get and the retake discount softens the blow. getting verified for a payout needed an id and a selfie, standard stuff … painless. i have nothing dramatic to report and honestly that is the highest praise.
took my money and gave it back with interest
Honestly just wanted to see if any of these prop firms are legit at all. the weekly market recap they send is actually worth reading. i had a margin scare during cpi and the platform held up without freezing. slippage outside of high impact news is basically a non issue for me. their reset option after a breach is cheaper than buying a whole new eval. leverage is reasonable, not the reckless stuff that blows beginners up. the challenge timer is generous, i never felt rushed into bad trades. sticking around until they give me a reason not to.
