Rebels Funding
Rebels Funding gives you 999 days per evaluation phase — one of the most generous timelines in the industry. EAs allowed, news trading permitted, 90% profit split, no strict time pressure. Two things worth knowing before you buy: passing earns a recommendation to a third-party funder rather than a direct funded account, and the T&Cs include a discretionary clause worth reading carefully. Otherwise, a solid option for patient, disciplined traders.

Who Is This Firm For?
About Rebels Funding
Two things worth knowing before you buy. Passing the challenge earns a recommendation to a third-party funder — FRCSM — not a direct funded account. That's a meaningful distinction that doesn't always appear on the homepage. There's also a discretionary clause that gives the firm power to terminate accounts for reasons that aren't clearly defined upfront, and a 1.5% max risk per trade limit that's tighter than most competitors.
For a firm launched in 2023, the track record is still building. The structure is solid. Read the full T&Cs before you commit — particularly the sections that don't make the marketing page.

I believed the reviews online that turned out to be affiliated. The chat support is obviously a thinly-veiled bot for the first two responses. I hope this review saves someone else from the same experience.— Verified Trader (nighttrader) See all reviews
Rebels Funding does not directly fund traders — passing earns a recommendation to a third-party partner (FRCSM) who makes the final funding decision independently. The 1.5% per-trade risk cap is stricter than most competitors — size positions accordingly from day one. News trading is technically allowed but aggressive execution around macro events will be flagged. With 999 days per phase, there is no reason to rush — patience is structurally rewarded here.

Rebels Funding – Trading Conditions
Forbidden Trading Practices
Prohibited behavior includes:
- Arbitrage in any form (price, latency, gap, swap, or multi-account hedging)
- Using delayed or external data feeds
- High-frequency or ultra-fast scalping (especially trades under ~30 seconds)
- Excessive risk-taking, including martingale, overexposure, or one-sided betting
- Risk per trade exceeding ~1.5% of account balance
- Trading during sensitive periods:
- Major news releases
- 1 hour before market close
- Account sharing or third-party management
- Any trading style that “raises reasonable concern” for the firm
That last one is doing a lot of heavy lifting. It basically translates to:
“If it looks weird to us, we’ll deal with it.”
This isn’t unusual in prop firms, but here it’s written in a way that gives them a very wide safety net.
News Trading
Technically allowed — but with a catch.
- Opening trades during major macro events is explicitly flagged as problematic
- Targeted trading around high-impact news can be considered a violation
So yes, you can trade news…
…but if it looks intentional or aggressive, it becomes a problem.
It’s like being told:
“You can swim in the pool — just don’t make waves.”
Expert Advisors (EAs)
EAs are allowed, but under tight control:
- HFT-based EAs are prohibited
- Arbitrage EAs (gold, latency, etc.) are banned
- Any EA that mimics prohibited strategies will get flagged
- The firm evaluates behavior, not just the tool
Translation:
You can use automation — as long as it behaves like a cautious human trader.
Copy Trading
Not allowed.
- You must trade your own account
- No account management services
- No shared access or collaboration
Standard rule across most firms — nothing surprising here.
Account Models – Overview
Rebels offers a wide range of evaluation structures:
- 1-Phase
- 2-Phase
- 3-Phase
- 4-Phase
- Instant Funding
Each model differs mainly in progression complexity and evaluation depth.
Notable points:
- No strict time pressure (accounts can last up to 999 days per phase)
- You must pass each phase in one continuous attempt
- If you fail → account is terminated, no retry built-in
This is one of those systems that looks flexible…
…but also quietly removes pressure by replacing it with patience and discipline requirements.
Inactivity & Duration
- Accounts expire if not activated within 180 days
- Each phase lasts up to 999 days
- No refunds for inactivity or early exit
So yes, you have time.
But also:
If you disappear, the system moves on without you.
Payouts & Funding Reality
Here’s where things get interesting.
Rebels Funding does NOT directly fund traders.
Instead:
- You complete their evaluation
- You get recommended to a third-party partner (FRCSM)
- That partner decides whether you actually receive a funded account
Meaning:
Passing the challenge ≠ getting funded
It’s more like:
passing the exam → getting considered for the job
Final Take
Rebels Funding sits in that middle ground where everything looks reasonable… until you read the fine print carefully.
The structure is flexible, the time limits are generous, and the path is clear — which is exactly why the control mechanisms are embedded deeper in the rules rather than upfront.
The biggest thing to understand is this:
You’re not trading for funding — you’re trading for a recommendation.
That doesn’t make it bad.
But it does make it fundamentally different from firms where passing the challenge directly unlocks capital.
Think of it like this:
- Most prop firms → pass → get funded
- Rebels → pass → maybe get introduced to someone who funds
Not a dealbreaker.
But definitely not the same game.

I believed the reviews online that turned out to be affiliated. Their refund for my evaluation fee was processed at the wrong amount. Gave them enough chances and they failed each one.
Not perfect but close
Came from a retail trading background and wanted to see what prop was about. The consistency rule exists but it is not punishingly strict. Five stars from me, with no significant reservations.
Middle-tier firm
Passed the challenge, got funded, still deciding if I will stay. Broker-grade execution during London open, average during NY session. On balance, a pass grade. Nothing higher.
Real firm, real payouts
I started with a small account and have scaled up twice since. The consistency rule exists but it is not punishingly strict. Rare to see a prop firm that delivers this consistently.
Profit targets were realistic
Passed on my second attempt after a tough first go. Leverage and risk tools inside the platform are easy to configure. Will continue scaling my account here as long as they keep this level of quality.
