Bright Funded
Bright Funded launched in 2023 and has managed to stay out of the headlines for all the right reasons. Pass rate is decent, hidden rules score is moderate, and the Trustpilot reviews don't read like they were written by the marketing team. Progress.

Three stars feels right
I neither love nor hate them, which is unusual for me to say. My experience varied depending on which support agent I reached. Leaving without strong feelings in either direction.— Verified Trader (jack smith) See all reviews
The 5-minute news window on funded accounts catches SL and TP executions too — not just manual trades. If a major news event hits while you have open positions, your stop or take profit triggering in that window will have profits removed. The 48-hour exception is real but narrow — plan accordingly. During evaluation, none of this applies.

Quick Verdict
Bright Funded sits in that middle ground:
If you trade with a plan, respect your risk, and don't wake up every morning looking for a loophole — Bright Funded will probably leave you alone.
If your strategy relies on speed, news spikes, or occasionally winging it and hoping for the best — you'll eventually find the rule that was written specifically for you. The list is long enough that most scenarios are already covered.

no surprises here
Picked them mostly because the eval price was easy to swallow. i requested a payout three times and all three landed inside the promised window. the eval took me like 27 trading days total, not fast not slow, just fair. the funded payout split started at 80/20 and scaled up which felt fair. platform hasnt frozen on me once in three months of pretty heavy use. rules are clear, support is human, payments are real, what else do you want.
rules are strict but fair
Came here after getting burned somewhere else and starting over. kyc was painless … uploaded my id and got verified the same afternoon. the drawdown is calculated on balance not equity which honestly saved me a few times. i passed phase two and the payout eligibility kicked in exactly when they said it would. happy enough that i talked two friends into joining.
payouts hit on time
third firm i tested this quarter so here is where they landed. they grandfathered my old account rules when they updated their terms which felt fair. idk but i appreciated that they email you before a rule change instead of springing it. monthly fee on teh challenge is honestly cheap compared to what others charge for the same size. fast eval, fair rules, faster payout, top marks from me.
not bad at all
got into prop trading last year and have been firm hopping since. they paused my consistency tracker when i asked for a couple weeks off, super flexible. i emailed about a deduction i didnt understand and they explained it within teh hour. verification took one round of documents and they didnt ask me for ten random things. i got a small payout bonus for hititng a milestone which was unexpected. man passed, paid, repeat, that is the cycle and it has held up.
funded and paid
They popped up on a youtube ad and against my better judgement i clicked. the dashboard shows my drawdown buffer in real time so i never have to guess how much room is left. slippage outside of high impact news is basically a non issue for me. the minimum trading days is low so you can get funded fast if youre actually profitable. support remembered my previous ticket and didnt make me re-explain the whole thing. still funded … still profitable, still getting paid … that is the test that matters.
smooth from eval to payout
picked this one up after a buddy kept raving about it. the challenge rules are strict but at least they are written in plain english for once. the platform let me set custom alerts which actually helped me stick to my risk plan. no hidden gotchas on the payout page, what they say is what you actually get. stuck with them a year now and zero regrets.
better than my last firm
Wanted lower targets and a calmer ruleset so this one caught my eye. they let me trade through the cpi release without flagging my account which was a relief. the daily loss limit gives you enough room to actually trade your plan instead of choking you out. i traded indices mostly and the spreads on those were perfectly fine. good enough that i stopped shopping around for alternatives.
rules are fair tbh
I am a swing trader so the overnight and weekend rules mattered most to me. the challenge timer is generous, i never felt rushed into bad trades. fees are reasonable for what you get and the retake discount softens the blow. execution during london open is tight enough to scalp if you are into that. my market orders fill basically where i click, slippage has been almost nothing so far. sticking with them for now, they earned it.
finally a firm that pays
My first prop firm so i had no idea what to expect going in. you get a real account dashboard with trade history and stats not just a balance number. their economic calendar integration is a small thing but i use it daily. payouts are biweekly on funded accounts which is way better than the monthly firms. support speaks actual english and not copy pasted template answers. happy customer … happy wallet, would absolutely do it again.
no complaints from me
i blew my first account in two days like an absolute clown. drawdown is end of day based not intraday so a quick wick against me doesnt kill the account. their content creators seem to actually trade the product instead of just reading scripts. i got a partial refund of my fee back with my first payout which i wasnt expecting. can you guys get in contact with this firm if I provide an acc number? their customer support hasn't replied in ages.
