Rebels Funding
Rebels Funding gives you 999 days per evaluation phase — one of the most generous timelines in the industry. EAs allowed, news trading permitted, 90% profit split, no strict time pressure. Two things worth knowing before you buy: passing earns a recommendation to a third-party funder rather than a direct funded account, and the T&Cs include a discretionary clause worth reading carefully. Otherwise, a solid option for patient, disciplined traders.

Who Is This Firm For?
About Rebels Funding
Two things worth knowing before you buy. Passing the challenge earns a recommendation to a third-party funder — FRCSM — not a direct funded account. That's a meaningful distinction that doesn't always appear on the homepage. There's also a discretionary clause that gives the firm power to terminate accounts for reasons that aren't clearly defined upfront, and a 1.5% max risk per trade limit that's tighter than most competitors.
For a firm launched in 2023, the track record is still building. The structure is solid. Read the full T&Cs before you commit — particularly the sections that don't make the marketing page.

Payouts came short of expected
I believed the reviews online that turned out to be affiliated. The chat support is obviously a thinly-veiled bot for the first two responses. I hope this review saves someone else from the same experience.— Verified Trader (nighttrader) See all reviews
Rebels Funding does not directly fund traders — passing earns a recommendation to a third-party partner (FRCSM) who makes the final funding decision independently. The 1.5% per-trade risk cap is stricter than most competitors — size positions accordingly from day one. News trading is technically allowed but aggressive execution around macro events will be flagged. With 999 days per phase, there is no reason to rush — patience is structurally rewarded here.

Rebels Funding – Trading Conditions
Forbidden Trading Practices
Prohibited behavior includes:
- Arbitrage in any form (price, latency, gap, swap, or multi-account hedging)
- Using delayed or external data feeds
- High-frequency or ultra-fast scalping (especially trades under ~30 seconds)
- Excessive risk-taking, including martingale, overexposure, or one-sided betting
- Risk per trade exceeding ~1.5% of account balance
- Trading during sensitive periods:
- Major news releases
- 1 hour before market close
- Account sharing or third-party management
- Any trading style that “raises reasonable concern” for the firm
That last one is doing a lot of heavy lifting. It basically translates to:
“If it looks weird to us, we’ll deal with it.”
This isn’t unusual in prop firms, but here it’s written in a way that gives them a very wide safety net.
News Trading
Technically allowed — but with a catch.
- Opening trades during major macro events is explicitly flagged as problematic
- Targeted trading around high-impact news can be considered a violation
So yes, you can trade news…
…but if it looks intentional or aggressive, it becomes a problem.
It’s like being told:
“You can swim in the pool — just don’t make waves.”
Expert Advisors (EAs)
EAs are allowed, but under tight control:
- HFT-based EAs are prohibited
- Arbitrage EAs (gold, latency, etc.) are banned
- Any EA that mimics prohibited strategies will get flagged
- The firm evaluates behavior, not just the tool
Translation:
You can use automation — as long as it behaves like a cautious human trader.
Copy Trading
Not allowed.
- You must trade your own account
- No account management services
- No shared access or collaboration
Standard rule across most firms — nothing surprising here.
Account Models – Overview
Rebels offers a wide range of evaluation structures:
- 1-Phase
- 2-Phase
- 3-Phase
- 4-Phase
- Instant Funding
Each model differs mainly in progression complexity and evaluation depth.
Notable points:
- No strict time pressure (accounts can last up to 999 days per phase)
- You must pass each phase in one continuous attempt
- If you fail → account is terminated, no retry built-in
This is one of those systems that looks flexible…
…but also quietly removes pressure by replacing it with patience and discipline requirements.
Inactivity & Duration
- Accounts expire if not activated within 180 days
- Each phase lasts up to 999 days
- No refunds for inactivity or early exit
So yes, you have time.
But also:
If you disappear, the system moves on without you.
Payouts & Funding Reality
Here’s where things get interesting.
Rebels Funding does NOT directly fund traders.
Instead:
- You complete their evaluation
- You get recommended to a third-party partner (FRCSM)
- That partner decides whether you actually receive a funded account
Meaning:
Passing the challenge ≠ getting funded
It’s more like:
passing the exam → getting considered for the job
Final Take
Rebels Funding sits in that middle ground where everything looks reasonable… until you read the fine print carefully.
The structure is flexible, the time limits are generous, and the path is clear — which is exactly why the control mechanisms are embedded deeper in the rules rather than upfront.
The biggest thing to understand is this:
You’re not trading for funding — you’re trading for a recommendation.
That doesn’t make it bad.
But it does make it fundamentally different from firms where passing the challenge directly unlocks capital.
Think of it like this:
- Most prop firms → pass → get funded
- Rebels → pass → maybe get introduced to someone who funds
Not a dealbreaker.
But definitely not the same game.

glad i switched
Was super skeptical going in because of all the horror stories online. i got a small payout bonus for hitting a milestone which was unexpected. i never had to chase support, they actually closed my ticket the same day. i traded indices mostly and the spreads on those were perfectly fine. the profit target on phase one is ambitious but not insane. platform was stable the whole time, no random disconnects during news. i would rank them top three of everything i have tried this year.
fast payouts, dated ui
My buddy kept hyping these guys up so i gave them a shot. teh news trading rule confused me at first but the faq actually explains why it exists. i like that the daily loss limit resets at a sane hour for my timezone. the rules pdf is long but at least nothing is buried in tiny print. bro i scaled twice and each bump was a real size jump not some tokne gesture.
solid all rounder
Long time retail trader, first time messing with a prop firm. minimum trading days felt forced at first but i get it now, it protects both sides. the scaling plan is actually motivating instead of being some impossible carrot on a stick. no hidden gotchas on the payout page, what they say is what you actually get. i requested a payout three times and all three landed inside the promised window. four stars, the missing one is just me being picky about the ui.
funded on first try
Been with this firm for a few months now and honestly no major complaints. honestly teh rules made my retail trading better too, forced discipline and all that. payouts are biweekly on funded accounts which is way better than the monthly firms. dude getting verified for a payout needed an id and a selfie, standard stuff, painless. sticking around until they give me a reason not to.
Worth The Eval Fee
a mentor of mine uses them so i followed his lead. i tested the live account against the demo with the same setups and it matched. i held positions over the weekend a bunch of times and never got penalised. the funded payout split started at 80/20 and scaled up which felt fair. there is a discord and staff actually show up in it occasionally. can you guys get in contact with this firm if I provide an acc number? their customer support hasn't replied in ages. they passed the only test that matters … they paid me.
beginner friendly enough
i scalp news sometimes so i specifically checked thier rules first this time. their mobile app is basic but it does let me check my account on teh go. first withdrawal i was sweating bullets but it came through clean and on time. idk but crypto and wire both supported, i did wire and it hit my bank in two business days. recommend with the usual caveat that you have to actually read the rules.
no complaints really
Picked them because they were one of the few that took traders from my country. the eval took me like 27 trading days total, not fast not slow, just fair. first withdrawal i was sweating bullets but it came through clean and on time. the ui looks like it was designed in 2014 but functionally everything works. i will renew when this account runs its course, simple as that.
Happy So Far
Tried them out after a refund nightmare with a competitor. no surprise inactivity fees which i half expected to get hit with. their economic calendar integration is a small thing but i use it daily. i renewed my challenge this month which is basically my whole review right there. their server uptime during the last nfp was flawless from where i sat. support speaks actual english and not copy pasted template answers. the demo and funded feeds matched closely enough that i trusted my backtests.
they actually pay
picked these guys mostly because of the discount code floating around. i breached the daily loss limit on a tilt day, fully my fault, they did nothing wrong. email notifications can lag a bit which is mildly annoying but not a dealbreaker. i requested a payout three times and all three landed inside the promised window. fees are reasonable for what you get and the retake discount softens the blow. not the cheapest, not the flashiest, just reliable, and that is enough.
read the rules first
Ok so the evaluation is exactly as advertised which is rare these days. their reset option after a breach is cheaper than buying a whole new eval. they cap the max lot size which annoyed me at first but it protects you. i like that they show your stats in real time instead of a delayed dashboard. their dashboard is genuinely useful, learned stuff about my own trading just looking at it. happy enough that i talked two friends into joining.
