Spice Prop
Spice Prop. Bold name for a firm with a $300 max allocation. The rules are fair, the pass rate is decent, and the hidden rules score won't give you nightmares. Just don't expect the account size to match the branding energy.

Who Is This Firm For?
About Spice Prop
The problem is there's not much long-term data on payouts yet. The structure looks fine on paper. Whether it holds up when traders start withdrawing serious money is a question the industry hasn't fully answered yet. Approach accordingly.
- Founded
- 2023
- Max Allocation
- $300.000
- Leverage
- 100
- Commissions
- $3/lot
Pros
- - 2% risk per trade idea clearly defined — no vague "don't overleverage" clauses
- - Rules are specific and consistently applied — fewer surprise closures than industry average
- - Short-term trades allowed up to 5% of total trades with proper SL/TP
- - Copy from own funded account to own challenge account allowed
- - Correlation rule clearly defined at ±80% threshold — no arbitrary enforcement
- - Consequences clearly listed upfront — suspension, reset, closure, ban all documented
Cons
- - 2% limit applies to all positions on same asset combined — scaling into trades triggers the cap
- - One device environment and one IP ecosystem strictly enforced — Starbucks logins flag reviews
- - Copy trading prohibited between funded accounts and from challenge to funded
- - News hedging prohibited — buy and sell around news events classified as prohibited strategy
- - Activity rules enforced — minimal trading to avoid inactivity closure triggers review
- - Correlated asset positions at ±80% counted as same trade idea for risk limit purposes
Scaled my account twice
Just received my fourth payout, so I figured it was time to leave a review. Payouts arrived within the window they advertised every single time. Feels like they respect their traders, which is more than I can say for …— Verified Trader (arjun mehta) See all reviews
The 2% rule applies to your entire position on a trade idea — not per order. If you open three buys on EURUSD in sequence, all three count toward one 2% combined limit. News hedging is a hard no — don't open both directions around a news event. Keep your IP consistent and avoid logging in from new devices or locations without expecting a review.

SpiceProp – Trading Conditions
SpiceProp is one of those firms that says:
“Just trade normally.”
And then hands you a rulebook that quietly defines what “normally” means… in great detail.
The good news?
- Most of it actually makes sense.
The other good news?
- You will discover just how specific “making sense” can get, through our honest, comprehensive review.
Independent Trading Only (No Borrowed Genius)
Not allowed:
- - copying signals
- - copying other traders
- - copying your favorite Telegram “guru”
Also not allowed:
- - copying between different users
- - copying between multiple funded accounts
- - copying from Challenge → Funded
Allowed:
- - your own Funded Account → your own Challenge
So yes, you can clone yourself.
Just make sure it’s actually you doing the thinking.
Short-Term Trading (Speed Is Fine… Until It Isn’t)
The rule:
- - Trades under 3 minutes = “short-term”
The limit:
- - max 5% of total trades
Exception:
Only if:
- - SL/TP was properly set
- - and the trade behaved like a normal human decision
This is basically:
“You can be fast… just don’t look like you’re speedrunning the market.”
Activity Rules (Don’t Pretend to Trade)
- - Opening tiny trades just to tick boxes → not allowed
- - Staying barely active → not allowed
If your account looks like:
“I’m just here so I don’t get disqualified”
They’ll notice.
Account Rules (You Are One Person. Act Like It.)
Strict setup:
- - one trader
- - one account
- - one device environment
- - one IP ecosystem
Not allowed:
- - account sharing
- - passing services
- - “my friend traded it for me” stories
CID / IP conflicts:
→ instantly suspicious
There's no “damn, I logged in from Starbucks.”
Strategy Rules (No Creative Shortcuts)
Prohibited:
- - arbitrage
- - latency tricks
- - grid / martingale
- - all-in trading
- - exploiting system delays
News Hedging:
Opening buy + sell around news?
→ bold strategy
→ also not allowed
Correlated Tricks:
Trying to outsmart the system with correlated pairs?
They’re not impressed.
Consequences (Yes, They Mean It)
Break the rules and you might get:
- - account suspended
- - payout rejected
- - profits reset
- - account closed
- - permanent ban
So… maybe don’t test all of them at once.
Risk Management (Where They Get Serious)
The 2% Rule (The One You Don’t Ignore)
Definition:
- - max 2% risk per trading idea
Translation:
If you open multiple positions on the same thing…
they count as one big idea.
Enforcement:
- - Challenge → they watch
- - Funded → they act
If you push it:
- - payout delays
- - restrictions
- - resets
- - or the classic: “account gone”
Correlation Rules (Nice Try Though)
Spreading risk across correlated assets?
If correlation is ±80% →
you didn’t outsmart anything.
You just made it more obvious.
Consistency Score (No One-Hit Wonders)
Formula:
- Biggest win ÷ total profit
Limit:
- - max 30% from one day or trade
If you exceed:
→ payout gets delayed
This is basically:
“We like skill. Not lucky explosions.”
Stop Loss (Technically Optional… Emotionally Required)
- - Not mandatory
- - But expected
If your trades look like:
“I’ll just hold and hope”
You’re entering the “we should probably look at this account” category.
Payout Conditions (The Moment of Truth)
To get paid:
- - 14 active days
- - 4 profitable days (≥0.5%)
- - €100 minimum profit
- - KYC done
Simple enough… until you try to rush it.
Manual Review
Triggered by:
- - weird patterns
- - risk issues
- - inconsistency
Duration:
- - usually up to 7 days
KYC, IP & Location (You, But Actually You)
Allowed:
- - VPN/VPS (if not hiding identity)
Not allowed:
- - multiple locations
- - IP inconsistencies
- - “I was in 3 countries today”
Bonus:
They may ask for a video call
Yes, at some point it might turn into:
“Hi, can you confirm you’re a real human?”
This sounds actually pretty reasonable. Think of it like an interview for NASA.
Funded Stage (Not Instant VIP)
After passing:
- - 24h review
- - full audit
Then:
→ funded account
No shortcuts here.
Final Take
SpiceProp is structured, clear, and honestly… pretty fair.
They’re not trying to trick you.
But they’re also not letting you freestyle your way through the system.
If your style is:
- - disciplined
- - consistent
- - controlled
You’ll probably do just fine.

low key impressed
picked these guys mostly because of the discount code floating around. they refunded my eval fee when i got funded which was a nice surprise. partial closes and trailing stops both worked exactly like they should. i tested the live account against the demo with the same setups and it matched. can you guys get in contact with this firm if I provide an acc number? their customer support hasn't replied in 7 days. execution during london open is tight enough to scalp if you are into that. their economic calendar integration is a small thing but i use it daily. verdict: boring in the best possible way.
cautiously recommend
my prop firm group chat would not shut up about them so i caved. tbh slippage outside of high impact news is basically a non issue for me. teh rules pdf is long but at least nothing is buried in tiny print. the challenge rules are strict but at least they are written in plain english for once. spreads widen a touch on the new york session but still nothing to write home about. the profit target on phase one is ambitious but not insane.
platform is rock solid
Was super skeptical going in because of all the horror stories online. the profit target on phase one is ambitious but not insane. the weekly market recap they send is actually worth reading. there is a discord and staff actually show up in it occasionally. the consistency rule is generous compared to the firms that cap you hard. i appreciated that they email you before a rule change instead of springing it. no regrets, would hand them my eval fee again.
funded and paid
been with this firm for a few months now and honestly no major complaints. payouts are biweekly on funded accounts which is way better than the monthly firms. first withdrawal i was sweating bullets but it came through clean and on time. their server uptime during the last nfp was flawless from where i sat. no notes really … it just works.
in it for the long haul
Signed up after seeing them everywhere on twitter, figured why not. leverage is reasonable, not the reckless stuff that blows beginners up. the news trading rule confused me at first but the faq actually explains why it exists. i never had to chase support, they actually closed my ticket the same day. the funded payout split started at 80/20 and scaled up which felt fair. earned a cautious thumbs up from a guy who trusts no one.
better than my last firm
got tired of demo trading and figured a challenge would force me to focus. i had a losing month and they did not nuke my account, just the usual rules applied. support answered a dumb question of mine with an actual example instead of a canned reply. no hidden gotchas on the payout page, what they say is what you actually get. consistency rule almost got me once because i did not read the fine print, my bad not theirs.
no surprises here
Tried a bunch of firms this year and this one is somewhere in the middle. the drawdown is calculated on balance not equity which honestly saved me a few times. there is a discord and staff actually show up in it occasionally. i appreciated that they email you before a rule change instead of springing it. they passed the only test that matters, they paid me. can you guys get in contact with this firm if I provide an acc number? their customer support hasn't replied in ages.
solid all rounder
Came over from another firm that shall not be named after they ghosted me. i traded indices mostly and the spreads on those were perfectly fine. email notifications can lag a bit which is mildly annoying but not a dealbreaker. i requested a payout three times and all three landed inside the promised window. i renewed my challenge this month which is basically my whole review right there. all in all i would point a friend their way without much hesitation.
Works well for scalpers
A fellow trader recommended them and I am glad I listened. The evaluation rules are clearly documented without hidden gotchas. One of the firms I actively point people toward when asked.
Better than the hype
First time trying a prop firm, so this was all new to me. Payouts arrived within the window they advertised every single time. Overall one of the smoothest prop experiences I have had.
No payout data available for Spice Prop yet.
