Rebels Funding
Rebels Funding gives you 999 days per evaluation phase — one of the most generous timelines in the industry. EAs allowed, news trading permitted, 90% profit split, no strict time pressure. Two things worth knowing before you buy: passing earns a recommendation to a third-party funder rather than a direct funded account, and the T&Cs include a discretionary clause worth reading carefully. Otherwise, a solid option for patient, disciplined traders.

Who Is This Firm For?
About Rebels Funding
Two things worth knowing before you buy. Passing the challenge earns a recommendation to a third-party funder — FRCSM — not a direct funded account. That's a meaningful distinction that doesn't always appear on the homepage. There's also a discretionary clause that gives the firm power to terminate accounts for reasons that aren't clearly defined upfront, and a 1.5% max risk per trade limit that's tighter than most competitors.
For a firm launched in 2023, the track record is still building. The structure is solid. Read the full T&Cs before you commit — particularly the sections that don't make the marketing page.

Payouts came short of expected
I believed the reviews online that turned out to be affiliated. The chat support is obviously a thinly-veiled bot for the first two responses. I hope this review saves someone else from the same experience.— Verified Trader (nighttrader) See all reviews
Rebels Funding does not directly fund traders — passing earns a recommendation to a third-party partner (FRCSM) who makes the final funding decision independently. The 1.5% per-trade risk cap is stricter than most competitors — size positions accordingly from day one. News trading is technically allowed but aggressive execution around macro events will be flagged. With 999 days per phase, there is no reason to rush — patience is structurally rewarded here.

Rebels Funding – Trading Conditions
Forbidden Trading Practices
Prohibited behavior includes:
- Arbitrage in any form (price, latency, gap, swap, or multi-account hedging)
- Using delayed or external data feeds
- High-frequency or ultra-fast scalping (especially trades under ~30 seconds)
- Excessive risk-taking, including martingale, overexposure, or one-sided betting
- Risk per trade exceeding ~1.5% of account balance
- Trading during sensitive periods:
- Major news releases
- 1 hour before market close
- Account sharing or third-party management
- Any trading style that “raises reasonable concern” for the firm
That last one is doing a lot of heavy lifting. It basically translates to:
“If it looks weird to us, we’ll deal with it.”
This isn’t unusual in prop firms, but here it’s written in a way that gives them a very wide safety net.
News Trading
Technically allowed — but with a catch.
- Opening trades during major macro events is explicitly flagged as problematic
- Targeted trading around high-impact news can be considered a violation
So yes, you can trade news…
…but if it looks intentional or aggressive, it becomes a problem.
It’s like being told:
“You can swim in the pool — just don’t make waves.”
Expert Advisors (EAs)
EAs are allowed, but under tight control:
- HFT-based EAs are prohibited
- Arbitrage EAs (gold, latency, etc.) are banned
- Any EA that mimics prohibited strategies will get flagged
- The firm evaluates behavior, not just the tool
Translation:
You can use automation — as long as it behaves like a cautious human trader.
Copy Trading
Not allowed.
- You must trade your own account
- No account management services
- No shared access or collaboration
Standard rule across most firms — nothing surprising here.
Account Models – Overview
Rebels offers a wide range of evaluation structures:
- 1-Phase
- 2-Phase
- 3-Phase
- 4-Phase
- Instant Funding
Each model differs mainly in progression complexity and evaluation depth.
Notable points:
- No strict time pressure (accounts can last up to 999 days per phase)
- You must pass each phase in one continuous attempt
- If you fail → account is terminated, no retry built-in
This is one of those systems that looks flexible…
…but also quietly removes pressure by replacing it with patience and discipline requirements.
Inactivity & Duration
- Accounts expire if not activated within 180 days
- Each phase lasts up to 999 days
- No refunds for inactivity or early exit
So yes, you have time.
But also:
If you disappear, the system moves on without you.
Payouts & Funding Reality
Here’s where things get interesting.
Rebels Funding does NOT directly fund traders.
Instead:
- You complete their evaluation
- You get recommended to a third-party partner (FRCSM)
- That partner decides whether you actually receive a funded account
Meaning:
Passing the challenge ≠ getting funded
It’s more like:
passing the exam → getting considered for the job
Final Take
Rebels Funding sits in that middle ground where everything looks reasonable… until you read the fine print carefully.
The structure is flexible, the time limits are generous, and the path is clear — which is exactly why the control mechanisms are embedded deeper in the rules rather than upfront.
The biggest thing to understand is this:
You’re not trading for funding — you’re trading for a recommendation.
That doesn’t make it bad.
But it does make it fundamentally different from firms where passing the challenge directly unlocks capital.
Think of it like this:
- Most prop firms → pass → get funded
- Rebels → pass → maybe get introduced to someone who funds
Not a dealbreaker.
But definitely not the same game.

best eval i've taken
wanted lower targets and a calmer ruleset so this one caught my eye. the rules pdf is long but at least nothing is buried in tiny print. their dashboard is genuinely useful, learned stuff about my own trading just looking at it. support answered a dumb question of mine with an actual example instead of a canned reply.
could be great, is not yet
picked them because they were one of the few that took traders from my country. the firm is legit as far as i can tell, just slower on everything than advertised. payout came in crypto fine but the fiat option had extra steps. payouts are reliable so far but the schedule is biweekly not on demand. three and a half stars rounded down, ask me again after my next payout.
pleasantly boring
Started here as a complete beginner, here is how that went. their server uptime during the last nfp was flawless from where i sat. the consistency rule is generous enough that one good day doesnt disqualify your whole payout. the payout actually hit my account in like two days which i did not expect. first withdrawal i was sweating bullets but it came through clean and on time. did not expect to stay this long but they keep delivering.
cleared my withdrawal fast
only tried them because a friend got a referral bonus. honestly the rules made my retail trading better too … forced discipline and all that. spreads are fine, nothing crazy … nothing terrible … it is a prop firm not a charity. i hit up support on a saturday night fully expecting silence and someone replied in maybe ten minutes. i tested the live account against the demo with the same setups and it matched. would i bet my rent on them? already did … and it worked out.
passed eventually lol
got in through an affiliate link from a trader i follow, no shame. payouts are biweekly on funded accounts which is way better than the monthly firms. been with them six months and the payout reliability is the main reason im still here. they grandfathered my old account rules when they updated their terms which felt fair. the buffer between daily loss and max loss gives you breathing room on a bad day. they did exactly what the website promised, which is rarer than it should be.
Fast Payouts, Dated Ui
signed up on a whim after a podcast mention. teh mobile app stays synced with desktop so i can check positions on the go without lag. bro fees are reasonable for what you get and the retake discount softens the blow. ive done three withdrawals now and every single one landed on schedule no excuses. support gave me a straight answer about overnight holds instead of dodging the question. i got a partial refund of my fee back with my first payout which i wasnt expecting. not flawless but the good outweighs the annoying by a wide margin.
happy so far
Bought in after they ran a promo i couldn't ignore. getting verified for a payout needed an id and a selfie, standard stuff, painless. the consistency rule is generous compared to the firms that cap you hard. they let me trade through the cpi release without flagging my account which was a relief. the platform let me set custom alerts which actually helped me stick to my risk plan. no hidden gotchas on the payout page, what they say is what you actually get. happy enough that i talked two friends into joining.
payout came early actually
Came over from another firm that shall not be named after they ghosted me. slippage outside of high impact news is basically a non issue for me. the verification email came instantly instead of the usual 24 hour wait. the profit target on phase one is ambitious but not insane. i had a losing month and they did not nuke my account, just the usual rules applied. crypto and wire both supported, i did wire and it hit my bank in two business days. sticking around until they give me a reason not to.
paid on time every time
I am a swing trader so the overnight and weekend rules mattered most to me. the scaling lets you double your account size every time you clear a payout milestone. got my first payout via crypto and it landed in under an hour after approval. no surprise inactivity fees which i half expected to get hit with. they refunded my eval fee when i got funded which was a nice surprise.
Solid All Rounder
Heard about them on a youtube review and figured i'd see for myself. i appreciated that they email you before a rule change instead of springing it. they paused my consistency tracker when i asked for a couple weeks off, super flexible. i compared them against three others and they had the best balance of price and rules. they sent me a little congrats email with my payout confirmation which was a nice touch. recommend with the usual caveat that you have to actually read the rules.
